Suns making doubters eat crow

I was one of them too! Being wonderfully surprised instead of horrifically disappointed is a wonderful feeling :D

Over the the course of my life, I've never been one for "sticking it in the faces of the doubters" like so many insecure people do now, Kanye West-style.

BUT, I think the stupidity about the Suns going into this year and the vehement nature of the "tanking!" **** from losers everywhere in recent months and years has pissed me off enough to really want to gloat about blowing away people's expectations thus far and shutting them all the **** up.

I was settling in for a miserable season too. After watching the preseason games I knew it wasn't going to be as bad as the media was predicting. Still I only thought somewhere between 30-35 wins. Guess I'll be eating crow sometime in late January.

Casual fans( General Board) are still not respecting the Suns. All the merrier for us when they continue to improve throughout the year.

Getting rid of Measley and the Cannon really made our chemistry 100323 times better. We're meshing and barring injury, I don't see how we don't improve being such a young squad.

You have such an attitude problem. You never contribute anything but getting angry at other posters (or i guess anything) . I think all you do is try to "stick it in other peoples faces" with foul language....although most of the time you fail. Like just recently when you were actively on the "start Len over Plumlee because we drafted him 5th" bandwagon.

If theres anyone on this forum who should be eating crow everyday because of their failed predictions its you.

I thought the suns were going to be good this season and you got your first prediction right in the past year right and now you want to brag about it....

Cant you just say you are happy the susns are winning? instead of going off on some foul mouthed tirade?

No need to get personal, just ignore a post/poster if need be.
Thanks,
Miklo

Also more on subject I think it was easy for the majority of NBA fans and "experts" to dismiss the Phoenix Suns before the season. Anyone but Suns fans who didnt get to watch our SL and Preseason games looked at us as a team with a bunch of unproven players. Which is true.

For us suns fans we saw players breaking out of their shells in SL and preseason. Instead of unproven players we saw potential. And when the season started players started to surpass even our expectations.

Suns could win a championship and BH would probably still be an angry fan.

But live and let live I suppose.

I'm gonna try to hack into the RealGM servers and find a way to "And-1" this post at least 5,000 times.

Still gonna argue there is a big difference between media doubters who said the Suns are going to lose 60+ games versus those who said the Suns are "Riggin for Wiggins" or "High on the Tank Rank chart". Chad Ford is nothing but a tabloid journalist and should be writing for the National Enquirer at best. That anyone would pay for his ESPN insider drivel is laughable. There's a reason Ford won't eat crow and its because no one around here would give him a Heimlich if he was choking on it.

Nobody knew what the Suns were going to be this year to be fair. I think most expected the Dragic/Bledsoe combo to be good but they have been better than good. After the Gortat trade Plumlee earned his way into the starting lineup and hasnt looked back since making Len an afterthought; I can't say enough about how much we lucked out getting Plumlee. But for me the even bigger suprise has been the signing of Hornacek as well as what he's been able to do with players like Green and the Morris twins.

Crow can be a very tasty bird.

They have these mutant crows in Flagstaff that are like 3 feet tall. Wonder what they'd taste like fried?

BH wasn't bragging about being one of the few on here that was optimistic. I just think he was saying that the cherry on top of the cake is giving a nice middle finger to all the the fans, who said we were made to fail, and we had zero talent. And that our goal was to take on a dishonest strategy of rigging the system, for fool's goal.

I'm glad I stayed optimistic, and had faith in our players.

I think I predicted 19 wins or something terrible. This crow is delicious, and I will happily eat more.

No need to call individual posters out guys, thanks for keeping the peace :)

As for the Suns, although I wasn't a proponent of tanking I certainly doubted that we would be as successful as we have been. This season has been quite a pleasant surprise, but even more pleasant is the fact that we have come upon some valuable talent to use as building blocks for a future title contender!
