One purpose for these useless shirts, I mean jerseys, and that is money. Stupid Los suns crap needs to go. Colangello would have never done anything like this.

If your going to make a jersey for Mexicans then u better make jerseys for every ethnicity. I'm Irish, I want a jersey for my background. What about the Koreans, they deserve one to. Oh and the Chinese, Japanese, Italians, ........

not just for mexicans! but for hispanics in general. the largest minority race in Arizona.

Obviously it would be impractical to have a cultural night for every ethnicity...but there is quite a bit of Irish people in Arizona...perhaps you should call the Suns organization about it! I know they already have Polish heritage night. I do believe the Suns had an Asian feature event at one point in the past too

Those nights are for the nationalities of popular players on our team meant for their fanbases. Polish night was for Gortat and the 'Asian feature' you're talking about was probably for Yuta Tabuse (remember him?). Right now, they could do a Slovenian heritage night with Goran's surge in popularity, but I don't know how many Slovenians live in Arizona or would travel here to see Goran play. Other than that, I can't think of any other 'heritage' nights that make sense for the team.

The Suns organization has been in Phoenix AZ since day 1. The name has always been "Phoenix Suns".

I'm not sure why the Suns are pretending to have Latin roots.

It's not the Suns organization that is pushing this, but I believe it is the NBA. They are just trying to cash in on the growing (legal and illegal) Hispanic population in the U.S. All they see is potential $$$ signs. The whole campaign is just ridiculous but I am not suprised.
