NBA Warns Tucker about Flopping

Seriously? There was obviously contact by James. Did Tucker exaggerate it? Perhaps, but it's hard to call it a flop (at least when you consider the guy that got called for the foul). Seriously, if this is a warning, how many times has LeBron been fined already?

You have to be f*cking kidding me! probably trying to justify why we get the shaft of calls at home, stupid league and their bs.

Just watched the video, and Tucker lands awkwardly on that left leg, which caused him to fall down. This league is a joke now. Do they care to explain why Miami went to the line almost twice what we did?

Probably cause the Suns were settling for jump shots where as the Heat were attacking the paint.

Teams that settle for jumpers typically go to the line less than the teams that attack and try to get into the paint.

46 pts in the paint for Miami compared to 30 for Phoenix says it all.

Of course that disparity would probably have been a lot closer if Bledsoe was healthy and playing.

As for Tucker's flop, I have seen a lot worse than that which has gone uncalled. Definitely don't think its worth a warning.

Points in the paint doesn't show shots taken in the paint, fouled not called and missed.

37 shots taken in the paint for Miami and they shot 23/37 for for 62% in the shots taken in the paint.

25 shots taken in the paint for Phoenix and they shot 14/25 for 56% in the shots taken in the paint.

Percentage wise we were close to Miami in terms of making the shots in the paint, we just chose not to attempt as many shots in the paint.

The suns rarely got to rim vs heat. The heat got to rim whenever they felt like it

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

This must be a joke. Chalmers flopped on a play with Dragic and no warning for him

Here is a good example: the Heat out scored GS in the paint by the same amount as the did with us (16), and yet in SF, they shot one less free throw than GS.

Fined again?

Tucker to most players around the league rarely flops. High profiled players can flop and get away with it

Was it on that rebound attempt where he threw his body into the basket base?

You can see video of the flop by following this link. With less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter Goran Dragic was driving from the left wing and was forced into a reverse layup, while Tucker was in a prime rebounding position in front. Kenneth Faried of Denver came up behind Tucker and tried to body him and get rebounding position, and after a relatively light tap Tucker launched forward into the stantion like he was hit by a linebacker. Tucker had been warned for flopping earlier this season by the league.

Tucker becomes the fifth NBA player fined for flopping this season, joining James Harden, Lance Stephenson, Mario Chalmers and Corey Brewer.

This time his flop was too obvious. He shouldn't have been warned last time, this should be his warning with the next being the fine.

What happens if he gets caught "flopping" again? Suspension? Or bigger fine?

Maybe he exaggerated it but it wasn't like he wasn't shoved.

I'm not even sure he exaggerated it. It looks like he's just about to jump for the rebound when two guys push him in the back. I think he may have just been bracing for a possible fall. Either way, I've seen a lot worse from LeBron and I don't believe he even got a warning for it.
