I don't think Utah is married to him. I think they want to keep him, but if a team comes and makes them a great offer, I think they would consider moving him.

Ultimately, I don't think he'll be moved. But I wouldn't be surprised if the deadline comes and goes and McDonough has landed Hayward and Kanter.

I know it's not realistic AT ALL but I would LOVE Al Horford in Phoenix.

I am not sure trading for Hayward is the best thing we can do at the deadline.

For starters, because of the price. At the very least , how much can it cost you? Two picks? Was and Indiana's? One way to balace out things and keep multiple in consecutive drafts could be using Indiana's pick and our own in 2015 with protection. The Morrii and one good pick? But I digress. Expensive, no matter what, right?

The thing is that if you pay the price, it is you who is married to him. Do you let him go because say Boston puts on the table 3-4 more millions per season than what you want to pay? On top of Bledsoe (supposedly)?

You have to match whatever they throw at you or somehow build a sign and trade where the incoming pieces would equal more or less the assets spent, but that's a long shot.

My opinion is that if you are positive on paying the max for him, it can be a worthy investment, especially under the light of a playoff run.

But if there is a significant difference between what you believe he is worth (say 10-11M per) and the max, I think you are better off keeping the assets and simply extending the offer sheet yourlef. Unless you don't think the player would sign it with you, but that's another issue. One which probably can be solved with the max, anyway.

One thing I know: I'd really really love to see what this team can do with Gordon Hayward at the wing.

Jimmer is available INF, he's a better option than Ishbosa.

If he were available, Gordon Hayward would be my guy.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind him at all. He may be someone who needs to be here from training camp forward for the coaching staff to have enough time to work their magic.

Of course he's in the fall through. Just sayin' if we do get somebody, I'd hope he'd be on your list as to not ding your growing reputation as a NBA savant. :P I mean you are the guy who nailed the Scola for Green and Plumlee trade.

:) Nah, the list was just based on the names bandied about the most on the board and, to a lesser extent, in the media. It wasn't based on my personal estimation as to what will happen.
