So we don't have a tough scheudule?
4 of our next 6 games will be:
vs. LAC
vs. OKC
@ GSW
@ LAC (b2b)
We will also still play on the road:
@ BKN
@ PDX
@ SAS
@ DAL
And have another two home games:
vs. OKC
vs. MEM (who completly owned us)
No way we will hold on to the 8th seed the way the other teams are playing. Bledsoe won't change that.
Which team doesn't make the playoffs out of these?

The only team between the grizz, mavs, warriors, and suns playing really well right now is the mavs. The grizz almost lost to the lakers tonight with their full roster, the warriors lost to the bulls with their full roster they aren't playing amazing basketball by any means.
Teams go on win streaks thats fine we will go on one too and Bledsoe might not change that initially but once his back 100% he will be a big help even if its just a spark of confidence to the team.
The games that are must wins are the remaining games we have with the mavs, warriors, and grizzlies those are the ones that will determine the outcome

Memphis has been winning close games all season. That's what their good at. Finishing games.
And by the time Bledsoe comes back and gets into game shape and recovers the team chemistry, we may be out of the picture altogether.
The Suns right now are only it because of their hot start from the beginng of the year. Look at these standings without Bledsoe

If the Suns miss playoffs, they can blame it on their piss poor effort in the losses against the crap teams like Utah, Detroit, etc.

Re: Which team doesn't make the playoffs out of these?
I don't think we will make it, but then again, they have surprised me all year, so I hope they do again. I do think Memphis will make it though. Dallas keeps playing tough. I keep thinking they are going to drop off, but Carlisle just won't allow that. Golden State got crushed last night.
But if ANY of those teams have a major injury, we could easily be in. I don't expect Dirk to go down, but if he or Monta went down, I don't think they would make it. Golden State has several injury prone players.
If we don't make it, it's not the end of the world. And like I said, if we finish projected for the 14th spot, it would be great to move to the top 3, while simultaneously moving the Wolves pick down a slot to 14th, thereby giving it to us.
A playoff run would be nice, but just missing could make them all the hungrier next year and to work extra hard in the offseason.

How would we move to the top 3 from #14? How many times has that happened in NBA history?

Three off the top of my head where people had about as long as odds and moved up...
Chicago moved up from 11th to 1st in 2008. 11th has an 8 in 1000 chance for #1, whereas 14th has a 5 in 1000 chance for #1, a 6 in 1000 chance for #2, and a 7 in 1000 chance for #3.
In the 2011 draft, the Clippers had the 13th slot, which had a 6 in 1000 chance to get #1, but they got it. Of course they had traded that pick to Cleveland.
So at least in the last 7 drafts, twice a team had VERY LOW odds to move up, and did. It's obviously not probable, but it's not impossible.
In 1993, Orlando had the worst chance of all lottery teams, and got the #1 pick. That was before they changed the lottery though, and they had a 1.5 chance in 100, which is still a 15 in 1000, so that was about as long as odds too.
Those three are off the top of my head.
Perhaps the basketball Gods will reward us for not intentionally tanking like other teams are doing.

And we are about to get better once we get bledsoe back whereas the grizz and the mavs don't have any major injuries at the moment and I think the warriors have bogut back too. So we are going to improve while they stay the same
The last time Bledsoe had this injury and came back, he didn't play well at all for the Clippers.
So there's no guarantee that he will make us better enough to put us over these other teams.

true, but the games we have lost thus far (minus the Jazz) have been 1 or 2 possession losses, the Suns just need a little more firepower. A Bledsoe at 80% is still considerably better than Barbosa and/or Ish. Hopefully when Bledsoe comes back Plumlee's performance will improve too.

I really hope the Suns make the playoffs. It would be a bummer if they miss out after such an amazing season, with this roster. They definitely deserve it.
If I had to choose, I hope Dallas misses out and the Suns end up with the 6th seed so they don't run into OKC/Spurs.

At this point I'd be glad to have Bledsoe in on defense for 20 minutes a game. Even if he doesn't score a point, that contribution could be helpful.

The Mavs are 1 and 6 vs .500 teams since Mid January.
