McD robbed of Exec of the year

I mean, they gave the award because they think "Spurs is successful and consistant for a decade but we didn't give Exec of the year award to Buford.So let's give it this year." By doing this, you don't give the award to who really deserved it.

Yeah agreed, even if we're not looking specifically at McD, this feels an awful lot like a handout to Buford just because it hasn't been given in other years to an organization that is very successful in the long term. But it comes at the cost of the award going to one of the execs (McD or some other names mentioned) who did serious work this year and changed the trajectory of plummeting teams.

Why do I feel this is like Stern calling the Spurs a dynasty before they even played in the WCFs? If that logic is true, I'm betting on the Spurs winning the chip this year.

Stern may be out of the picture visually, but he is definitely still there.

Yeah - this is a little stupid, to put it lightly.

Ryan owned every team he dealt with this offseason. Dragic, Hornacek and McD (the three of them, together), took this team from "2nd worst in the league behind the 76ers" to "legitimate playoff matchup nightmare" for teams like OKC and SAS.

SO, out of those three, Dragic gets MIP. Pathetic. No All-Star nod, no COTY, no GMOTY. Absolutely silly.
