What do you think of the playoffs this year?

Post#1 » by Sunsdeuce » Sat May 3, 2014 2:32 pm

These playoffs have been some of the most entertaining playoffs since the 90s. I think this proves that you don't need the lakers or celtics in the playoffs for the nba to be profitable and enjoyable. The 1990s were the years where the lakers and celtics were irrelevant and the 1990s are considered the some of the nba best years. I think this new cba is actually working.

I don't usually enjoy the playoffs when the suns aren't in them nor do I usually care but I have enjoyed this years playoffs. I would really like to see the raptors win their series.

Anyway, are u enjoying this years playoffs?

I honestly believe the Suns would have moved on to the 2nd round already. Crazy to see 5 out of 8 series go to Game 7s though.

Well so far this has to be the best first round ever. Most of the time you have quite few sweeps or series that only go five games.

We are going to get 5 games 7s, and were very close to a 6th. OT in I don't know how many games, so many crazy endings.

I don't know if the Suns would have made the second round. I think they could have against Portland and obviously Portland just moved on, but they matched up better against Houston than we would. I don't think we would have beaten any of the top four seeds. We may have been capable and played some good games though.

It's been great, I wish we were in it.

The Suns are not in it, so they're terrible.

The west lives up to the hype just as expected.
When seeds 7-9 up for grabs with near 50 wins even with key injuries to those teams.

East lived up to its non expectations.
ATL,CHA and the bulls are not playoff teams.
And the downhill pacers are just

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I was at the Clippers/Thunder game 4 yesterday afternoon, and from a neutral point of view, it did not disappoint one bit. Well, at least the second half anyway. I went with my dad as he is a clips fan of 20+ years and I think he enjoyed himself.

Miami is just awful to watch from a basketball standpoint. Just ugly, ugly basketball.

Second round has not lived up to the hype. First round was great. Watched the NFL draft this weekend and totally forgot(more like didnt care) the NBA playoff were on.

Also was still mad about the ending of the Nets/Raptors series. The last play of the raptors game, I forgot which raptors player had the ball but he should have been shooting free throws. He was completely assualted by the nets players. I hate this perception that refs need to swallow the whistle at the end of games. Raptors should have been playing in round 2, not the nets.

The last two Clippers/Thunder games have had incredible comeback finishes.
