Hopefully doesn't affect him into next season.

I don't think it's a whole lot different than guys playing the Summer League. I just hope he doesn't get injured.

not even a fraction of what he makes in PHX. its not about the money.

It might surprise some people in here but some players take pride in representing their country and love playing for their national team.

I'm a fan of this. His growth as a player and leader was exponential from the 2012-13 season to this previous season. I think a lot of that had to do with the role he earned in leading his national team. If playing for Slovenia helps as much this year as it did last year, Dragic could be 1st team All-NBA next season.

Not a fan as a suns fan.
Can't blame him though.

At the end of the day he's probably in a contract year so he has to live with whatever comes out of it longterm.
He was fine last year

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

The Slovenian national team coach said they will be in constant contact with the Suns and set up a special programe for him, he will get the so called special star treatment, the coach is aware he had a span of tough 12 months and that his health comes first. Also this years national team training will be shorter before the WC starts, compared to last years Euro Championships. So all in all, Dragic will have a much better schedule which should be easier on his body. The training starts begining of August, championship starts end of August, he will probably be finished by around September 10th, max September 14th if Slovenia get to the final, which it wont happen. So that is 5-6 weeks of training and games. He'll have 3+ months to get rested since the end of the season, and after the WC he'll have more than a month and a half before the next NBA season starts. No need to panic over his health status.

Its like playing a couple playoff series'. Maybe not as intense. We don't think very much of the extra wear and tear on players of a couple of playoff rounds. Of course, they rest after. He does this just before the season starts.
