Gordon is almost 6'10 with crazy athleticism. His athleticism makes up for his lack of great height. He isn't undersized for the PF spot.
I think Randle is much more of a tweener than Gordon.
Gordon can be Blake Griffin 2.0 if he puts in the work.

If all it will take is hard work, Gordon will get there. I don't think he'll get there. He has a good attitude and a great work ethic but wanting to do something and doing something aren't always the same thing.

Wishing the best for Gordon! It has been a while since U of A provided a stud!

I think Arizona sophomore Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will have a better chance at being an NBA stud than Gordon. He has flaws too but I think they are more fixable than Aaron's.

Hopefully Stanley Johnson shines next year as well! I agree on Rondae.

Other than clips I haven't seen him play yet but by all accounts he's supposed to be something special.

Tweener maybe but as a player he's nothing like Derrick Williams. In fact, their strengths and weaknesses are so dissimilar that if you combined the two guys you'd have a first ballot Hall of Fame player.
-Both undersized for their position; too small for PF. Too slow for SF
-Both can't shoot; Williams can a bit better than Gordon, but that's not saying anything lol.
-Both extremely athletic.
-Gordon can hopefully become a Shawn Marion type player. Defend, rebound, hustle. Score off easy buckets and passes being dished to him.
-All hope is lost for D-Williams
-I don't think Gordon was a good choice at #4.
Gordon is quick enough to guard SF's, he was quicker than some PG's at the combine. I think that's his strongest attribute right now.
At his age he should be a freshman this season so I think he's a long ways from a finished product but I can see him getting minutes this season guarding some of the top wings in the league. He's like a glue guy that plays winning basketball right now. He does a lot of things that don't show up on the stats like pushing the ball up the court, always running back on defense, setting picks, passing the ball for a big guy, and just fundamentally sound on defense, rarely caught out of position.
I watched the whole UCLA vs Arizona game last night and he looked like he was the best player without really scoring.
