Is PJ Tucker a physical specimen? Jason Kidd? Boozer ? Millsap? Draymond Green? Gortat? Randolph? Lavoy Allen? Pachullia?
Not buying that argument at all.
Looking at the stats he is not even in the top 100 for rebounding per 48 :o

And i'm not sure you've got the correct understanding of physical specimen..Shawn Marion was not much to look at - okay, he had long arms, but his "basketball attribute" (a better way to call it) was his instinct combined with his freakish ability to jump faster upon landing than anyone else (along with being able to jump high).

Picking one of the pF's in your list - Paul Millsap - his attributes on Draft Express include:

"Millsap uses his body incredibly well to box his man out and has phenomenal instincts and impeccable timing using his limited vertical leap to get the loose ball. He measured out at just 6-7 ¼ at the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp last year, but has a 7-1 ½ wingspan at his disposal to help compensate for that. His hands are phenomenal, which helps him come up with plenty of loose change around the basket in the form of tip-ins or put-backs. The fact that he never ever gives up on a play doesn’t hurt him either".

And sure, desire is a personal attribute that Millsap seems to possess a lot of so maybe Kieff could improve there but, again, my guess is he does have desire, he's just a bit "basketball attribute" limited against bigger / faster / stronger / higher jumper / longer armed / possibly more instinctive PF's.
