I think half of the gripe about Hornecek and his rotations have to rest with McDo and the Babbler. Green plays because they want to trade him for something.... he has no value on the bench. Same goes for IT. But with him, they have to also justify his worth as he was the one FA they went outside to get. Would look not-so-good if he was mired on the bench, and again, compromising his value while displaying an offseason possible mistake.

It has already been established Mitch and Maury from downtown (McDo and Babby) implemented the 'technical rule'. Is it hard to imagine them requiring minutes from certain guys ? The showcase is open and I am expecting 2 to 4 players on the move. Shake this sh** show up.

I will agree the T-Law seems.... odd ? Or perhaps it reeks of non-player influence (Babby/McDo)? Would you see any coach making such a rule that could potentially hamstring him ? WOULD ANY COACH HAVE TO MAKE A RULE ? He controls the 5 on the court does he not? Get a GD doghouse Coach! And polish up on some serious 'STINK EYE'. Pops and Thibs can peel a scab right off with an arm crossed glare. They have control of their teams.

Perhaps the FO is shielding Hornecek from losing this team (even more ?) It seems like the three are on one page as coach has referenced the my(our)way - highway road map for the future. Right now he is taking the lumps for the incohesive roster the boys threw together, along with the lippy-chippy-ass attitude that is festering. As is, this squad is devoid of leadership. It was thrust upon the MoBros by default, as there really is no respected Vet in the locker room. And it seems there is more drama in there than desired.

It wont be long before the rug is yanked. I'd wager even $ the MoBros are not on this team next yr.
Nice rip BHeart... you too Puff.

Because it is desperate. Kieff is clearly letting their emotions get to him regardless of what has been done behind closed doors. At some point (ie now), you have to do something drastic to get it through their heads. I'm all for benching someone if they start getting T's on the regular because it will hurt the team in the long run. Rather lose Kieff for half a game than a whole game or multiple games down the track when he's reached the T limits.

He's right ... you can't win a championship with all the technicals. Spurs and Heat have the lowest number of technicals called per year over the last few seasons. Still insists if the guys don't want to stop whining at the refs then they will find other players who want to compete for championships.

One interesting thing from that was this line from Hornacek: "We don't have any leaders on this team".

I read on BrightsideoftheSun that Hornacek is loosening the tech policy a bit. It is no longer going to be an automatic benching for getting a technical foul.

I would agree. A lot of the young guys don't have experience being a leader. It's not about who talks / yells the loudest. Gotta bring it on and off the court everyday and then be willing to listen to and mentor the young guys.

Oh so Horny backs off his initial stand because it doesnt work in his favour?

If theres a way to lose the respect of the locker room, here it is.

It's like punishing a child for doing something wrong, but then going back on the punishment and the initla stand The child loses respect for the parent, and the parent loses credibility.

I think he already may have lost it. Based on how players don't players don't listen to him and do the same thing over and over again that he tells them not to do.

Btw damn teammates supported each other about arguing with the refs? Lol

The Suns have a league-high 36 player technical fouls this season. At times, teammates support each other by continuing to berate officials, who take the Suns' way of protesting calls to be disrespectful.

Yup... was here to say just that. I do not like the rule, but to abolish it ....? Like that even less. I think Hornecek has deferred to the FO too much, and the team sees that.

Lets look at this yr....

PJ ... Booze-driving suspension
Bledsoe ... distant 'take it or leave it' negotiations. Coy-ass return
Thomas... 'promised' a significant role..squawked early, and perhaps again?
Tolliver......Signing and discarding of. Comments from Tolly about never being used properly, respectful nose-thumb
MoBro1 .... refusing post game interview after his career/Suns high game. Multiple senseless 'T's.
MoBro2.... bench confrontation, excessive profanity directed at the coach.
MoBro? .... alleged locker room confrontation
Goodwin.... 'play me or else' whine...wtf ? how about 'bring it, don't sing it' Arch?
Plumlee... wanting more playing time / out. Really Plum? You are not content being in the role that will allow you an NBA career?
Dragic.... proclaiming 'every team' has equal opportunity to sign him. "Exit' the Dragon ? Say it aint so Joe

Hornecek... repeatedly parking the Bus on the entire squad about not listening, not doing what he wants. Technical foul 'rule'. Proclaiming 'no leadership'.

Wright and Green ? playing for contracts. Though GG has has indiscriminately decided to chuck his way to it.

Sh**....Len, Warren, Ennis, and Zoran about the only ones not with a gripe/stain. They are just soaking it in. Great.

Not over reacting here. All of these have required some form of official comment/action from the FO. Damage control?
This has not been a good year internally, from the get go. Far from the 'positive chemistry' so applauded last yr.
Anything to this ?

There probably is but we won't hear a word about it til a player or coach leaves the team and then leaks out the info. Suns have been very "hush-hush" about their business for the past decade or so.

it was anything but 'hush hush' when Kerr-plunk was here. We 'heard' everything via 'inside sources. The Front Office dyke was springing leaks. It almost seems like the first rule of McDo was to plug all the drips.

I don't think he's abolishing it, just loosening the leash. He's set out the parameters and if they over step it, they shouldn't be surprised if they are benched.

Frank if you will allow me to point out a small grammatical error, the phrase is "front office dike has sprung a leak", it is not "the front office dyke has sprung a leak".

I highly doubt the lesbian in the cubicle outside of Babby's office is leaking information.

Seems like it is already starting to work, players were visibly biting their tongues to not complain to the refs in tonight's game. Hope they keep it up!

Marcus Morris is back to his old tricks.

We get a call in our favor and he gets a tech...from the bench.

How stupid are these guys? Like seriousky, if it wasn't for basketball it's scary to think what these would be doing for a living.

That one extra free throw was the difference in the game.

Regardless of whether it was a game changer or not, it's still incredibly stupid and this is probably after multiple chats behind closed doors about this exactly.
