I have seen so many plays where our PG gets trapped by the 3 point line and stops their dribble, and the rest of the players just stand around waiting for something to happen. Or they dont stop their dribble, but they really dont have anywhere to go due to defenders and the rest of the team is just standing around expecting them to get out of the situation by themselves. Its like a reoccurring theme every night. Thats when those possessions turn into Isolation plays.

The team really needs to work on how to move without the damn ball and get open so Dragic/Bledsoe have an easier pass, which also causes the defense to shift, and in-turn can also free up an open man if the correct ball movement is used.

I was thinking the same thing tonight. Agree 100% No cutters, no nothing. They need Grant Hill in there to teach them how to move without the ball.

I see my Plumlee predictions didn't quite turn out. none the less I'm glad we got the win! Good distribution of minutes tonight. Everyone should be rested for the upcoming game.

Bledsoe had 0 turnovers?

Is there a Winter Classic being played in hell or something?

I swear, he always jumps either too soon or too late or in the wrong direction or he just doesnt jump at all. He can be standing 2 feet from the basket and it seems like 89% of the time the ball ends up going in the complete opposite direction from where he is standing.

His defense tonight was also horrid. His man lost him numerous times. That Gobert play really stands out in my mind, as there were only 4 players down court (2 Suns & 2 Jazz), and he completely walked away from Gobert who was standing right under the basket to help doubleteam the other Jazz player in-between the free throw and 3 point line. We also had plenty of lapses where another defender player got past them and took it to the paint, and Plumlee just stands there, watching as they drive the lane from the FT line to the rim. Not doing a damn thing. Its so frustrating.

Plumlee is awful. He's not even a top 10 backup big man.

We need to trade him and bring in Earl Barron.

Please.

Plumlee did okay last night. Still a complete liability on offense but he's a good "in case of emergency break glass" big man

That's cause and effect.

Cause: the PGs are shoot first pass second. Even goran has turned into a shoot first.

Effect: players stand around watching.

Isn't Earl Barron like 72 years old? Not sure how that helps.

I know we would like to make the playoffs this year, but its not like we are contenders. Not sure I would sit Plumlee or Len just so we can lose to GSW in round 1.

Big picture.

heard anything (trade wise)?

You have to take steps forward. If we miss the playoffs this year on top of looking like we've regressed (which we have looked and have), it would be a total failure.

This

The whole point of rebuilding is to improve and make progress on a year by year basis
