Had himself a nice game tonight. Looking forward to his improvement this season.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah, I'm happy for him.

Go Archie!

Interesting fact from this article by Coro

* Entering Tuesday, the Suns were outscoring teams by 8.1 points per 100 possessions with P.J. Tucker on the court and getting outscored by 6.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the bench. Both were team bests.

Great news. If he can average like 18-20 mins off the bench for us and he's allowed to play through his mistakes, it will give him a chance to really develop further.

I know he said last season that he would demand a trade if he doesn't get playing time this season either so this ought to keep him happy as well.

No brainer over Weems. Looks like Booker's ahead of Weems as well.

I feel bad for Weems. Didn't he buy out his overseas contract? :/

I wouldn't feel bad for him. He has $3M guaranteed, probably more than he'd get at CSKA, who he was about to sign with before McD gave him a call.

CSKA's offer was higher.

It's been a long day, thanks for pulling me up on that. Even Bogdan is nearly earning the same as him.

By trade deadline, after maybe several D-league games, Booker can even step up and take over Weems completely... allowing Suns to trade Weems.

But injuries happen... so he can be insurance.

Don't be. He got the backup spot at the start of the season and he lost it. Its up to him to win it again.

But really as a general rule, we shouldnt normally feel bad for anybody in the NBA or any pro sport for that matter.

He said he was gonna sign with Barcelona and I doubt it was anything close to $3M. Probably less than these guys:

I was really high about Weems when I heard the signing but he have played bad until now. He deserves to be behind Goodwin in the rotation at this point, but we can need him because the season is really long. Injuries, trades, suspensions...... too many things can happen...he is a good player to have for depth on the roster.

I was just about to post that too.

Agreed. He had the spot and couldn't keep it. Can't feel sorry for that.

Other point for me, I'm usually a guy that thinks the players should go where the most money is presented. But in this case, we're talking about playing and living in RUSSIA, I'd take the US pay unless the Russia pay was exponentially higher.
