so, his wife was away and he had a kid. i understand the stress there. Heat fans are saying he's out of shape.....wouldn't necessarily surprise me if Miami was distracting him. i do wish him the best, though. i wish he could've left quietly, is all.

Sounds like he had a tough time with all that. No need to rehash his actions when he left. A lot of people involved made mistakes and we've beat this issue to death on several occasions.

I think pretty much everyone probably agrees that things worked out well in the end for us. Obviously giving away the pick may hurt, but we can discuss the Knight deal separately. We got decent value for Dragic in a trade, and it could become great value. I was in the camp originally hoping we could keep him AND Bledsoe. It's pretty clear if they couldn't play together (not sure if that is true) that Bledsoe has proved he was the keeper...and Knight and him DO seem to mesh better (I think...of course Dragic and Bledsoe were 23-11 a couple years ago...but that time has past).

Knight is looking great lately. He will have his off nights but it's time to look forward. Last year sucked. Lets hope this is is much better.

This thread has run it's course and the topic probably ran it's course last year, but with new faces around, I thought I'd leave this open for awhile despite the request to lock it since we've spent way too much time discussing this and many our ready to let this topic die.

If you want to talk about Goran, you can do it in the Around the NBA thread.

I hope all works out well for Goran. Lets get back to our team and our current players! :D
