Absolutely no to starting Leur. That would drastically diminish Kieff's trade value when it's already pretty low. Kieff would also start opening his mouth again and we don't want that. I'm sorry to say this, but we need to cater to Kieff's stupid needs before looking at the team needs in this scenario. Only because I feel we'll end up regretting it later. If it was any other player in the league in this scenario besides baby Kieff than I would start Leur.
Let's all hope Kieff goes on a tear for the next 15 games or so and we can trade him while his value is high.

He looked very good is his first start last as did the Suns as a whole. The ball is on the move with Leuer in there, not so much with Kieff.
I am glad you guys have seen the light. Dude is a good starting role player....for our current roster anyway.

Were there people mad? I think the last two things the fans wanted were another PG and a twin, of which he was both. One of them called Kaminsky something vulgar at a PRESS CONFERENCE after Wisconsin beat them in the tourney. Of course we could have drafted someone else, but can't believe we got him for a 2nd rounder.

Deleted the names because I didn't want to call out anyone here - most of these posts received at least 1 +1:
Christian Wood>Jon Leuer. Wtf can't believe we passed on him
Jon Leur, team option for $1M this year. Doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. I guess he's tall.
Yes, he is tall and he knows to play pick and pop, he is a stretch 4....our new Anthony Tolliver!Jon Leuer...or Christian Wood or Cliff Alexander? Still not happy.
Stretch 4 means shooting 3s in today's NBA. He can't shoot 3s well at all.
DONT WANT LEUERS ASS EITHER!!!!

I all fairness though, the guy who questioned you is infamous around these areas about having absolutely no knowledge about the game of basketball what so ever. Apparently he accidentally came across this board thinking it was a gay solicitation forum, and just kind of stuck around after for no apparent reason.
If I recall this correctly, you're referring to this dude:

Some think one of the smartest guys in the NBA and those guys always age well. They now have two great 2-way guards that also rebound and have almost no weaknesses. I also like the value of Bledsoe's contract and Markieff's contract. The Suns also have some great young talent in Goodwin, Len, Booker and Warren. They also just stole Jon Lueur for a mid 2nd. They WILL get a great free agent too...you can count on it. I like what I see all around.
As a Suns fan I love your positivity and optimism, but I have to say (and I mean this in the most respectful way possible) it's kind of hard to take a guy serious after he just uttered the phrase "they stole Jon Leur"

Leuer absolutely murder us last year, he absolutely couldn't miss. I like the trade - don't get me wrong - I just thought the word "stole" weas a bit of an exaggeration for a guy who will likely not average more than 10 minutes per game for us.
Harrison will end up in Europe. Leuer is better than a mid second IMO. Stole may have been a bit much but I was happy the moment I heard about it.

Leuer sure did a great job kicking my raptors butt on Sunday.
