This.
It has been unreasonable. He is conservative, but I can agree with that if we were playing decent basketball and winning, but when you are losing easy games and playing horrible basketball?! He needs to put our best players on the court, not HIS players.

BTW, Marcus talked about Knight the other day...

Asked if he anticipated the pass because Knight was a teammate last season, Marcus told mlive.com, “I don’t know. What I do know is that he (Knight) is soft. Soft. He panicked. So when you’re like that, that’s the type of stuff that happens.”

^ If I remember correctly, it took Marcus Morris over 3 seasons in the NBA before he had his first double double game. To me, that is incredibly soft, so I do not get where he thinks he has room to talk.

Dumb comments from Marcus but Morris is far from soft. He's starting now and playing good.. Better than our starting SF. He clearly was right about his comments about being better than PJ Tucker.

I'll take 15 pts, 6 boards over 6pts, 5 boards any day.

So you can get rid of Tucker and Markieff and it wouldn't improve that much.

Comes back to defense 22nd in Defensive Rating, same old Suns problem.

Sarver doesn't give a **** as long as we're running up and down fast and within 8th seed, so it's allowed to slide.

It's crazy our defense has slid so much. We were top 5 for awhile. Hopefully they can improve that. Hopefully Tyson is back soon.

Our defense sucks for a number of reasons, but primarily because we've decided to go without a rim protector whenever possible. Nothing to do with Tyson, IMO. All to do with Hornacek.

That doesn't make sense, since Tyson has been out and IS our rim protector.

That doesn't make sensemble since Tyson has been out and IS our rim protector.

The four games prior to his injury Tyson played in all of them less than 20 minutes.

Still better than zero. Just his leadership and being vocal while out there helps the team for the whole game. But I don't expect him to play monster minutes anyway.

Len is a better rim protector than Tyson. I don't remember Len fouling out... Coach isn't playing a center by choice. You're so consistent in your defense of Hornacek.

Well if he doesn't play Len today, it won't make much sense. But when teams go extra small, he can't chase a guy around that well. Yeah, I don't flip flop much on opinions. I have had some problems with his rotations though. I don't think he's coaching the guards to shoot a ton. He'd like to see more ball movement. Whether another coach could get through to them better, I don't know. Players often times, while in the flow, resort to their tendencies.
