Mod appreciation
I have been a member of numerous sports forums but quit posting on most of them. Reason being that the mods were uninformed. It's nice to see that the mods here are knowledgeable and interact with members. Thanks guys! Go Suns!

BW has been doing a damn good job since he's been a Mod. Glad I'm not the only one to notice.

I agree 100%
Although I used to occasionally get "suspended" for my drunken post rants during my ASU days, I probably deserved it. LOL.
Our mods are seriously awesome. They keep the board clean but I never feel "restricted" or "intimidated."
Props mods. #respect

Drunken posts are always forgiven when you are a Suns fan. Especially one who is the reigning draft lottery competition champion!

While I'm once again getting banned for nothing by a certain control freak/dictator mod on the general board. You guys are a breath of fresh air.

Re: Mod appreciation
It would be nice if Suns moderators would stop calling posters on here "irrational and emotional" because they share different opinions than their own. Maybe more people would post, if that was case. Just a thought...

If it is irrational and emotional then the criticism wouldn't be because it's different to my opinion but because it's against logic and facts. Irrationality and emotions rarely have any basis in truth or logic so it would be right to criticise the post in that instance. If the poster thinks there's rationale behind a post I think is irrational, let's talk about it. That's what the forum is about. Being a mod doesn't give my opinion any more or any less credibility.
But I'll certainly take that as feedback and perhaps not call out posts as much and just see where the discussion flows. Cheers Scutt

Re: Mod appreciation
I think particularly during a time like this, just about any of us can become emotional and possibly at times irrational, because sometimes it's hard to step back and think of things from a different perspective. For example, I'm been extremely upset over losing these last few games, especially in the ways we did, but at the same time, looking back, I am quite surprised that we were right there in every one of them, and nearly could have won them all.
At the same time, there can be some blame thrown around for not being able to close out games, whether it be on Knight's turnovers, missed free throws, technicals or offensive fouls in the closing moments, or coaching decisions.
If I have called someone in particular irrational or emotional simply for disagreeing with me, then I apologize, because that isn't something that it seems like I would do, and I will watch to try and not do that.

Re: Mod appreciation
What's happened to Kerrsed? His post volume has gone way down, don't see much from him anymore. I thought he was a great mod, even if his eye for basketball talent was a little (or lot) skewed.
I think all those confrontations with Beas4Pres made Kerrsed withdraw from public appearances.

He's definitely around monitoring things much of the time.
