The real question is Knight really injured.

I think he is. I'm not sure why he would go to LA for a second opinion, when we have probably one of the best med staffs in the league.

Plus why keep him out if there is a good chance we could get him to get his groove back? We could only increase his trade value, and possibly turn a bit a of a negative into a positive.

I really like the trade that Tastic proposed, with us netting Portis, but both Knight and Leuer need to be healthy for Chi to bite. No reason to trade for depth, and have that depth only be able to watch games.

Archie still has such a baby face "THE BABY FACE ASSASSIN"! kid is averaging more than 20 a game since starting right? His fire and Bookers up beat fire help, one more high motor guy would be nice, Porter added to those two for the future would be fire, Faried would even be fun to watch with them. I would trade Knight if ANY opportunity came up, Archie is more fun and less frustrating not to mention Bogdanovic coming next year.

It was really strange watching the Cavs vs Wolves game, which had 4 number one picks going at it, and only one of them has a chip, and it was after he left the team which drafted him.

You could see that based on what? Certainly not math. Bottom line, what is the realistic move that puts this franchise in the best position to succeed? The answer is to lose this season and have the math give you a top three selection in the coming draft.

Some people are just idiots. They are the same people who having been pushing for the Suns to go all out to make the playoffs - and fail - the past 5 years or so which is why we find ourselves in our current predicament. If they think we are going to keep getting lucky picking from the 13/14th spot they are dreamers

First of all, no one made those points you invented. So are you calling yourself an idiot? Next, when have we gone "all out" to make the playoffs since Nash left the team? The team goal is to make the playoffs, why is that bad goal? Wouldn't a team want it's players to compete at their highest level? You don't get into a competitive sport if your goal is to lose games.

As far as your misinterpretation of my picking 13th-14th, out of our last three lotto picks, if you had to only chose two, who would you pick out of Len, Warren, and Booker to keep, if you could only chose two?

Next, if we are purely going off Math (my favorite school subject, and one I taught for ten years), which are better odds, 25% or 75%. I'll let you figure out what those odds represent since you are calling people idiots. Next, who was the last #1 pick to bring the team that drafted them a chip? Duncan? The problem with the draft is that players are mainly taken for potential, because way too many of them are one and done players. Very rarely do you find a player with the total skill set to make a difference at the next level. Often we are finding that 7-12 spots can be very good because one might find a more established player, who may have not received the hype that a top 5 player received.

So again, I'm not worried about draft position at this time, I'm worried about the psyche of the current members of the team. Getting into a losing cycle is hard to bounce back from, sometimes taking multiple seasons, and risking the chance that players will just move on, if the team doesn't provide them with winning pieces. Everyone here would love the number one pick in the draft, but as BW said, it would be ideal to win some games, and luck out in the draft, either way, with losing Bledsoe, we are going to be a lotto team.

I agree, that's why there is no way they would include a drat pick. More than likely it would be us having to include a draft pick and both players ready to produce to even make the Bulls pick up the phone.

I still like Markieff to GS for Looney and maybe someone else, or a draft pick.

I've been against trading Knight - and I'm still on the fence - but the way Archie's playing, he has to continue to play when Knight gets back and next season, when Bledsoe returns. That makes four guards who should get at least 25 MPG. Someone will have to be moved.

I agree with the poster a few pages back...

I don't care that we are losing. Watching Archie/Booker/Tucker/Len/Chandler has been fantastic.

All 5 guys plays hard and watching Archie/Booker/Len develop is great.

Now if Horny could only work in TJ more. :noway:

I'm very impressed with how well Len has been playing lately. Can't spell length without Len. I wish they'd get him the ball more. I like that Booker and Goodwin seem to give it to him more than Bledsoe and Knight did who just wanted screens set.

We're still terrible at defending the 3 and right at the basket but we're not too bad from in between. lol
