People are judjinghim all wrong. Have you ecer listened e dude? He is obviously very smart, knows basketball, and is pretty serious and no nonsense. I think he purposefully made the decision at the beginning to cuddle james because he hears what prima Dona's American NBA players were especially LeBron. So he calculated and decided to coddle James and it ended up back firing. Knowing LeBron tho, I think it was a reasonable strategy.

Blatt is a better, much more proven and experienced. I think he commands much more respect than horny as a leader just based on his facial expressions and vocal tone.

Watch them both in an interview and then ask yourself which, if you had to choose one, would you rather go into a life or death fight with knives.

Blatt has proved to be able to mentally prepare his players to the biggest stages, and overachieve each and every time. His teams are plain mentally tough. Even during the playoffs and with all the injuries, the Cavs made their best.

He got the Kerr's offer to be the Warriors assistant coach on the spot, was advised by him to go to the Cavs interview just for the experience, because no coach has ever made the transition straight from Europe to become a NBA head coach. He got a historic job offer on the spot, ahead of Lue who wa the leading candidate. Yes, he is that impressive. Kerr told him to go there, coach an up and coming team of Wiggins and Kyrie.

He couldn't have anticipated that LeBron would come over and make the whole Cavs franchise cave toward him. From basketball point of view, Blatt is the best coach they could have got, but he wanted Mark Jackson (Rich Paul's client) since coming back and compromised for Tyronn Lue. He also wanted Kevin Love, even though it cost them Wiggins, and wasn't coming back until Tristan Thompson's 82M$ deal. Blatt never stood a chance there.

Blatt had the toughest job on sports AS A NBA ROOKIE, but he'll be incredible for a foundation like most of us want the Suns to be - a maximum-effort, overachieving team putting emphasis on team-first players over me-first players such as Dragic, IT and the Morrii. Pretty much like, well, the Spurs and the Warriors.

... contingent on the right personnel. Does Blatt get any more out of Markieff Morris? Does he improve Brandon Knight's shot selection?

I do not know about any of that.

Or perhaps Blatt's facial expressions and vocal tone alienated his players ...

Blatt would probably be a better politician or TV anchorman than Hornacek, but credibility as a former player and someone who knows the NBA tends to loom large. Blatt's lack of both an NBA playing career and a professional history with the league surely hurt him in LeBron James' eyes, and the same could be true of other players.

I do not know about any of that.

Considering the personalities he handled successfully throughout his career, I'm pretty sure he'll deal them better than Hornacek - although Kieff might be uncoachable at the moment.
