Rookie/Vet Tyson Chandler & Devin Booker

Post#1 » by Qwigglez » Wed May 4, 2016 1:12 am

I wanted to post all four episodes together and felt like it deserves it's own thread. Hopefully we can all look back at this in 3-5 years and see just how far Devin Booker has come.

That final episode really got me hyped up. I hope Devin Booker becomes a household name and turns this franchise around. Your thoughts?

The kid has everything to be a great player in the league. He's got the talent, he's got the swagger and he's got time. The important for him as Chandler mentioned in that last video, is the drive and dedication to the game. Not just going out there and living off your natural talent, it's about wanting to be great and working at that. Chandler makes a great point about guys being swept up in the lifestyle, money and fame of being an NBA player and being content with that and then there's those who rise above it to be 'legendary'. I really hope Booker becomes the latter.

This is a very well put together mini-series. I hope they continue doing this in the future.

I hope Booker becomes a star as he's so likable and a bonus he plays for us.

That last episode really lit a fire under me. Like I want to find Devin Booker and help motivate/train him.

Seriously, I'm hoping we can look back at this video and know that Booker really took that advice home with him.

From an outsider's view, I like the series from start to finish. The teacher(Chandler) molds the student(Booker) to become the master of the game and his destiny. Booker shows a lot of promise to becoming a perennial player in the NBA.

Gotta hand it to Steve Nash too being the executive producer. He could have picked any other rookie to do this series on, glad it was with Booker/Chandler instead of lets say KAT/KG. Though a fun parody would have been WCS/Cousins. Imagine Cousins saying to WCS "Yeah man, if we start to lose games, call out the coach, remember it is never your fault." "Always complain to the refs, thats how you get respek in this league."
