Not to hijack this thread, but yes Murray at 4 may be the BPA in many people's minds, but I would be very disappointed if we drafted him. I just dont think he is the right fit for this team (and to me not the BPA). Would prefer Brown or Bender over him.

This 13 pick depend entirely on who we take at 4. If we take Murray as this thread says, Im on board with jones.
If we take Brown, I would probably take Demetrius Jackson here

Luwawu. Suns needs some perimeter defense badly. He could be paired either with Booker and Warren.

I may go that way too. Just seeing how it plays out....I am between the top two vote getters now, partially because I'd rather my vote matter, but they are the two that make the most sense. Probably leaning him though.

Ellenson seems fairly high floor, probably low ceiling. Absolute upside is probably a bigger Love, but who knows...maybe a little better. Who knows with Luwawu but he seems extremely versatile. I would just hate not getting a PF though. I know we could get Bolomboy, Bentil, QZ, Juancho at 28 but how often do those picks pan out...but maybe two of those guys with our last two picks, so maybe one does.

If it helps you make a decision I voted on Luwawu as well. This team needs defense and IQ.

Don't know whom to choose. We need all star potential, but most of the high risk high reward players here would be a big reach. I'm guessing one of Diallo, Zhou Qi, Thon Maker or Bomboloy last til our next pick, and therefore would be willing to go with a more immediate contributor such as Hernangonez or Sabonis to keep the team entertaining during that stretch.

I voted for Ellenson out of what's left on the board.

I finally went with Luwawu over Ellenson, but it looks like Ellenson will take it. Luwawu would be the perfect person for Chicago to take next and it would make a Butler trade less painful. Though Baldwin kind of makes sense too if they ever want to move on from Rose.

Changed my vote to Luwawu as well. Mainly because Ellenson looks soooooooo sloooooooooooooow.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Luwawu

Pass on Ellenson, seems like he will be a career bench guy. If we need someone like him, we can just resign Teletivic or Leuer.

Timothe Luwawu by a nose. Thanks for playing and good luck in the draft.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Funny, two votes switch from "other" to Luwawu just to prevent Ellenson.

Will Ellenson finally make it off the board at 15? It's coming down to the wire again and he's sitting in the green room by himself!

Celtics_History_Lesson wrote:Crazy ideas for picks, although that happens in the real drafts too.

4 PHO Jamal Murray - They have two expensive combo-guards and also Booker at shooting guard, obviously they need someone the exact same.

7 DEN Kris Dunn - As was mentioned, after getting one lotto big point guard who can't shoot, they want another.

8 SAC Denzel Valentine - Jimmer, Stauskas, McLemore, the annual tradition of picking a shooting guard and failing him at the Kings.

9 TOR Marquese Chriss - A win-now team adds another project to the many projects who never play, Lowry along with Scola and J Johnson will be retired before Chriss, Caboclo and Noguiera are ready for big minutes.

10 MIL Deytona Davis - It would be like drafting John Henson for a bench role, when they already have that.

11 ORL Jakob Poeltl - While he is the best center in the draft, he is also the one that is nearly identical to Nikola Vucevic and they probably could not play on the floor together.

12 UTA Skal Labissiere - He doesn't seem like someone who would sign to stay in Utah if he ever became a good player.

I also don't like most of the poll options. No Stone or Zimmerman, no Croatian or Chinese centers, picking other is probably wasting the pick although that is better than the combined options. On my draftboard, Sabonis would be highest. For the Celtics, considering the first selection, I will go other with Zizic.
