If the option is on the table, would you trade the 4th pick for Okafor?

Do you want to trade the 4th pick for Okafor if it's an option?

Yes, I think he has to be our future center if that's the case

Yes, I think he can play PF next to one of our centers and that will work well

Yes, not because he necessarily fits, but because he is better than anyone else who might be there at 4

Yes, but only if the guy I really want goes at 3.

I don't think he can play PF next to Chandler or Len. Zero spacing. Our Len/Chandler lineups were some of the worst lineups in the league from an ORTG standpoint. We just couldn't score a lick.

I doubt it, but ...

I'm not a Knight fan but I do think value-wise it's a liiiitle much.
Maybe 4/13 for Okafor and one of their late firsts.

Do you think his skill set is a good fit for the direction the NBA is going? I almost look at this deal as maximizing the value of the 4th pick as an asset more so than acquiring a long term building block.

It has more to do with Len. Okafor and Len can't play together on a non-tanking team. Also Len's value is low. He's not good and coming off his rookie deal. McD isn't selling low on him.

I think this is the bigger issue.

None of those guys can play PF, so you'd be splitting 48 minutes at C 3 ways, and you'd want Len/Okafor to be getting serious minutes to develop.

The funny thing is that Chandler would be really good for Okafor, but if you get him, one of Len or Chandler would pretty much have to go, and I think we'd all rather deal Chandler in a vacuum.
