Also the people around me were asking about Booker... they said he looked odd just being the faciltator. I figured as much that his toe was giving him some problems because compared to everyone else on he floor, he looked a bit off.

This dude is still hurting out there, he doesn't look physically alright at all. Doesn't do the Suns any good to make this worse.
I'm sure he wants to play more than anything so he'll say or do anything he can to belittle his injury and play instead but Suns have to look out for his best interest and their own future.
Unfortunately I don't see much difference in him between this year and last. Fortunately, it is early in the season. Haven't noticed him favoring his foot at all. Turf-toe=gastroenteritis
Watch the preseason games up through the Portland game and then compare it to all the other games minus the first 2 he played following the game he sat out. His cuts were sharper, he drove, stopped and elevated with authority and he played pretty decent man defense (although he still struggled against picks). I doubt it's the only game where it's happened but if you have access to league pass go back and watch the first game against the Warriors. You can see him grimacing from pain several times in that game.
Forget pre-season, everyone looks faster in those games because the game's intensity is a gear lower. NBA regular season games have players putting close to 100% effort.

They may not all go full speed as often as they do when the game counts but when the competitive juices are flowing and the adrenaline kicks in, we all go full speed and it doesn't matter if the game counts or not. Booker simply isn't moving as well as he did prior to his two minor injuries. Regardless, you can ignore preseason if you choose but the evidence is there in the regular season too. Just using the eye alone it's clear he isn't getting the lift he was prior to his injury and while this is harder to judge, it appears to me that he isn't moving laterally as quickly as he was pre-injury.

It's usually like that in Oracle. Usually filled with people that just love basketball. Only bad time I have there is when we play the Lakers and their fans come out to watch.

I'm all for the type of move Earl made making Quese a starter but....
He's already in the advanced stats realm of BK. His NetRtg is -16.5. I would love to see Bender as our starting 4.

Bender is the perfect PF for our current starting five IMO. He moves the ball very well and he can space the floor better than Chriss at this point.
Defensively he can not be worse than Chriss...in the starting lineup he has been terrible and a fouling machine.

“It’s tough,” Warren said. “We just have to keep pushing through and keep learning. We’re going to figure this thing out and get wins.”
“Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson,” Watson said. “Five years from now, you’re going to say Eric Bledsoe, T.J. Warren, Devin Booker.”
“You let a team get going, especially one that is as talented as these guys are, with all this fast, athletic talent, then they are coming downhill at you and it’s tough to corral them,” Golden State coach Steve Kerr said.
“I wanted to win this game so bad and this has been happening a couple times, unfortunately,” Barbosa said. “… I had three straight mistakes. With a good team like that, they take advantage and they did. That gave the spark for them and the crowd got into the game and it was tough to shut it down.”
“We need to bring this same fire to every game, not just get up for the big games or the big teams,” Booker said. “If we play this way throughout the whole season vs. just any other team, I feel like we have a lot more wins in this situation.
“We’re not satisfied with the close games any more.”

OK. Clearly Warren is closer to star status than Booker is at the moment. Warren is doing it consistently and efficiently game after game. His D is also much improved.
Booker has regressed some, which is no surprising since the hype on him (from me too) was getting out of hand over the summer.
With Chandler, they may have pulled this off. Chandler has been so extremely valuable this year.

It seemed like a very fun game. Wow. We were ahead even in the last 5 mins.
How many +1s do you all think we were striped off? Ten, may be?
