Jessica Ashley is now 2-0 as our good luck charm. Just sayin.

We'd have 2 pages without knight.

He truly is a +/- beast.

On a side note, I am SO glad we never got involved in any of the Melo sweepstakes of the past. This is a guy who can still ball and do a ton of things on the court but due to his stubbornness, he chooses to only be an iso scorer and rebounder when there's a putback opportunity for him.

He still has two years and $54m left on his deal after this season. Couldn't be happier he's not our problem.

Incredible??? mmmm...scoring-wise, maybe, but he's still 4-for-15 from 3 (26.7%) the last two games, with 9 TOVs against 16 Assts, which is still below a 2-to-1 Asst-to-TO Ratio (1.78). But hey, if we can get a strong return in a trade before the deadline, then I say...well done!

I'm actually much more impressed with Chander's 23 TRBs, after 21 the game before...

...and FINALLY!! A Double-Digit TRB game from Chriss!!

Good on you for leaving the Lakers game out.

He's made quite a few of them the last few games.

I know it seems like it but he really hasn't. He's shot better than he did early in the season but counting tonight he has gone 6 for 21 from the arc (less than 29%) in his last 6 outings. He had a brief stretch before that where he actually shot fairly well but for the season he has an effective field goal percentage in the low 400's. I hate to pick on him after one of those rare games where he actually helped us more than he killed us but he's a real problem, especially given the minutes he's logging. And keep in mind, he is almost ignored by the defense. He's bricking incredibly wide open 3's and other players are suffering because they can so easily double away from him.

Despite our record, the Suns have looked like a decent team the last week and a half. Shout out coach Watson!! His only supporter on the board. Slowing getting where we need to be.

Yeah, they play similar offensively but Porzingis is way better than Van Horn on defense.

LOL, KP is already better than Van Horn ever was.

I think Keith Van Horn would thrive today... Max money even. But Porzingis is THE modern big man... Elite athleticism for a 7 footer, excellent shooting range, can dribble well for his height, so skilled for his too... Smart and has the fire in him to dominate.

Porzingis to me... Is an explosive athletic version of Dirk with reach of Mutombo.

Unicorn... Next to Durant who is another 7 footer who moves like an elite 6'7 guy.

I take it that you're an optmist which is perfectly fine.

But Suns the last week... Have looked slightly better than their worst, but still managed to lose to bad teams and barely beat a short handed Knicks team at home... I mean Knicks are bad already but being short handed suns should've smacked them... The sad thing is if Porzingis didnt foul out he would've score the nail on the coffin and protected the rim from Bledsoe. Watson has proven nothing.

Yup.

Melo, Lee to Magic for Gordon, Biyombo and Fournier

Pretty sure Melo would nix that one with his no trade clause.

Yeah lol i know... But the trade is what I think Phil would like.

First of all, here's me quoted from that game thread:

NavLDO wrote:Wow! This looks like a game I'll have to go back and watch. Bledsoe's stats indicate he played more like a prototypical PG last night with 9 Assts.

So, I gave EB his due credit he deserved, but hey, I'll make you a deal, I'll add in the Laker game, if you add in the Pacer game just 2 nights earlier when he was 5-for-13, 0-fo-5 from 3, with 4 Assts and 4 TOVs, deal??

And didn't you here? That game didn't count...

LukasBMW wrote:Can't be surprised that our D-league hall of famer (Knight) and D-league starting center (Len) played well against another team of D-league players.

Of course, the page before that he said...

-I wish we had a guy who could get us points in the paint. ---------->:NOTE-(not part of quote):--That would be a 'dig' on Len, BTW
-Nice to sender Bender go to the rim for once.

So don't worry, there's enough Bledsoe 'apologists' and 'fan-boys' who like to wear the 'rose-colored glasses' IRT to him in the midst of a declining season for him, yet will jump on the chance to 'dig' on Len, Knight, and Tucker every opening they get...

I just separated his last 2 games from the 3 total you lumped them in with. It's not like the Laker game was the most recent or in between the two most RECENT games I highlighted; just showing that he really only had ONE incredible game, then followed it up with two pretty good ones that also had some warts attached to them as well, is all...

Something that I noticed in the last few games is that Watson gives Knight less opportunities out there. Less minutes and touches for him...if he makes two or three consecutive mistakes he goes to the bench quickly.

I like that because we need to play basketball the right way, and Knight is never under control. If he is hot you can play him some minutes because he puts a ton of pressure on the defense, but not need to play him usually more than 20 minutes per game because he destroys the rhythm and flow of the game.

For the last three games he is averaging 19.7 mpg.

It is good to see Watson trying to assert some control over Brandon. Knight had way too much freedom early in the year.
