No, Boogie is dying to come to a team 20 game below 500 to create that dynasty some see. We have to keep demonstrating how good PJ Tucker and Tyson Chandler are and that they will be around for a long time.

To be fair if we get Cousins I can promise you the entire franchise will change overnight. Trading for Cousins and giving him that massive contract will no doubt indicate that we are going after Wall in the offseason.

Then we will be clearing cap space and trying to create a proper bench. Just my thought process and I'm sure McD is on the same page.

We will not get Wall. That team is on fire. Do you see how well Wall, Beal, Porter being a stud, Markieff being his best self, and Gortat are doing?

The Wizards to the Cavs into OT tonight...check out that box score. http://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400900174

And the standings... http://www.espn.com/nba/standings

Plus we'd have to give up way too much in either deal to leave us with nothing even if it were possible.

I think you are missing the point. They played well against the Cavaliers during the regular season. Big deal. That doesn't mean Wall wants to stay and why don't we just be real for a second.

Washington won't be going far in the playoffs. If they get past the first round how far do you really think they can go? They are fools gold just like we were during our 48-34 season.

Well, my point mostly is that Wall won't be traded...any team with a chance will take it, and for the vast majority of fans, a chance at a second round playoff series is huge, particularly for the owner, GM and team. We would likely trade all of our picks, Booker, Bender, Chriss, Warren, etc, to get both, so would be left with Wall, Bledsoe, Tucker, Cousins and Chandler with no picks....we would be like Brooklyn with a chance to possibly good enough for a 4 seed for a couple years but about where Washington is now...Beal scored 41 tonight and Porter 25....those are career games for what we would have left. And having GS and SA, ahead of us is tougher than what the east has. We need to stay the course, keep Bender, Warren, Chriss, Booker, all our picks, and build up from the ground, develop chemistry and to from there.
