-1 Watson - for playing the vets heavy minutes when the team is 19 games under 500

Bledsoe was worse than Knight and he is like a ghost in last 2 games. If Bledsoe gonna continue to play like this, I'd rather watch stupid Knight.

Sorry mate, I won't be counting your votes until you take it seriously. Pretty shameful and petty.

Are you serious right now? You're not going to count my votes because you don't like how I choose to vote? Really? lol

I'm being serious when I vote and I've done nothing wrong in order for you to reject my votes. If you don't like how I choose to vote then that's all good, that's your opinion and I have mine but you can't just choose to reject someone's votes because you don't agree with them. That's just not right at all, in that case you might as well just not let anyone vote in these and only count your votes from now on. lol

As much as they might not seem objective, you could say the same about our US election, but all votes should count. I doubt these have an impact in the results, but votes should not be thrown out, unless the voting rules are not followed, which is a far bigger problem with the +5s and stuff since everything is supposed to max out at 3.

Thank you BW and I will try to be more fair in my voting from now on, whether it's my true feelings on a player's performance or not.

for Pelicans
+3 Holiday (this is close but Holiday came up bigger down the stretch although both were fantastic late, splitting hairs)
+2 Davis
+1 Moore (work on that defense Buddy)

-1 Galloway
-2 Evans
-3 Jones (don't foul out before the 4th)

Suns
+3 Barbosa
+2 Dudley
+1 Warren (please fix your defensive rotations)

-1 Tucker
-2 Booker
-3 Bledsoe (would have been a horrendous night if not for some foul baiting got totally dominated by Jrue)

It's gotten sad when you are watching the game almost solely to see Booker get his 20 points. I guess it's probably good that's over so I can stop screaming, "Pass it to Booker you idiots" at my screen all night.

Great sentiment bw, except this isn't a popularity contest. We're not voting for a president. And therein lies the problem. This award wasn't set up for people to vote for the favorite and least favorite players, that is plain dumb. It was set up to have somewhere to vent and reflect on the game at hand.

I didn't put the effort into this stuff to have it made a mockery of. Guys like nashrambler write multiple paragraphs on their picks sometimes and you're effectively nullifying the value of their vote by making it a popularity contest.

Game 46 @ Denver:
Everyone else (Knight): +1 +1 +1 +1 +2 +1 +2
sleepyvato: -3

It sets a terrible precedent for me to accept votes that are clearly either 1) deliberately manipulate or 2) grossly misjudged. If you're going to vote completely against the grain then please, please give some sort of justification for it. That's all I ask. I don't want people feeling pressured to vote for certain players to counteract the votes of other posters. Those are playground tactics.

The rules clearly state:
In the event of a Suns loss, you are also encouraged to vote for the Cactus of the game:

-3 votes for the player most responsible for the loss
-2 votes for the second most responsible
-1 for the third most responsible

Which means if it's not your "true feelings" about a player's performance, you're gaming the system and your votes don't count.

I don't have to justify anything to you as long as I follow the rules which I have been and I will continue to vote how I see fit whether you like it or not, provided I don't break any guidelines. Now, I will try to be more fair from now on but again, if you don't like my votes then oh well, you still don't have any right to reject my votes just because you don't like my opinion. The comment about true feelings was that even if I felt like Knight was complete garbage one game, I would try to be more fair instead of just giving him a -3, that is what that means. I know this Nashy & Cactus thing is like your baby and I understand you're frustrated but the whole point of this is so everyone can participate, not just the people you want so we are just going to have to compromise here like adults and then move on.

I think we've had enough on this topic. I understand both sides, and sleepyvato said he will try to be more fair, but I understand it being viewed as not being genuine based purely on one game.

We have many people who never revise their feelings on players regardless of charts, stats, how well they play per 36, etc. Len, for example, is one of the best rim protectors/opp fg% at the rim bigs in the league and many want him gone and would prefer guys who can't do anything like that.
