But I wanted to ask specifically about Monroe - he obviously had a good game offensively, especially coming off an injury, but what about his defense, was it as bad as advertised? I've always liked him, he might be a nice change compared to our current offensively unable centers.

There were plenty of 'olay' moments with him but given he doesn't know our system (do any of our players know our system?), I wouldn't harp on it. He and Daniels were our bright spots.

This team is putrid. I don't understand how fans really think bender and chriss are good...they are terrible...Im from new jersey and I actually decided to stay up and watch this whole game even while they were getting blown out. The problem with this damn team is that the drafting is terrible. LEN/BENDER/CHRISS they were all misses. Warren to me is overrated will never be a star. Its booker alone on this team and I actually feel bad for him. The horrid play starts from the top. I would not be surprised if booker decides to leave this mess. The suns management have to be in tank mode to go into this season with this current PG situation. At this point if im the suns I would have a private talk with book and let him know that this is full tank mode and try to explain that things will change. The suns need a top 3 pick with out a doubt. and will need to bring in some talented vet free agents. Even if they have to overpay since im sure free agents will be weary coming here. This GM better hit on his next draft pick and coach.

I was sleepy as hell and that wild finish by Len just made me realize. NO MORE.
Even Aaron Gordon found some touch and we're in year 5 w/ Len still waiting for something to happen.
Nah.

Play Tyson and Monroe until the deadline. Bye Alexia.

Len is what he is. He won't make it past this season. Bender and Chriss are 19 and 20 years old respectively and had Earl "Yogi" Watson as their only professional coach thus far. Give it time with them. Bender is already playing far better than last year and he'll have mistakes. He's still one of the youngest players in the league. Booker knows all about the "timeline" and where the team is right now. Bledsoe didn't want out publicly until the first week of the season, there was no indication the PG situation would be this dire since he was supposed to be the professional he's paid to be, but wasn't. Ibdont see how Warren is "overrated" given no one talks about him and he's capable of putting up 30-40 any night with almost no plays run for him. I do agree that we need to make a move for a competent PG, though.

His rebounds are worthless because a lot of it is him missing easy shots with NOBODY around so he’s able to get his own rebound and another opportunity to miss it again. Defensively, his boards are the ones that fall right into his lap.

Alex Len is the perfect example of human being wasting his height and size.

I hope he’s saved his money during his rookie contract because I’m positive he’s not gonna remain in the NBA very long.

I have faith in us. Let's go for the 4th pick again. Doncic, ayton, porter, bagley. One will be there at 4.

This is the year we have the 5th or 6th worst record but luck out into a top 3 pick. I feel it.

I find it's much healthier not to entertain this particular hope.

hate how every game, he slows the ball down.. tells his team mates to move while he over dribbles at top... then goes ISO only to put up a really bad shot or get blocked.... hack.

I know that people loves to hate the best players in the word...but sometimes is fair to say that they are great players. It is what it is.

Harden is an amazing basketball player IMO.

Harden is amazing no doubt, he isnt the most athletic but he just so crafty and skilled. His timing is probably best in the league, those passes as well... just on point...

Len's problem is just that he doesnt know how to control his arms and hands... his layups are as if he is trying to dunk the ring... no soft touch... Monroe looked so smooth.... soft touch... Okafor is similar so I hope Suns get him in the off season.. then draft Ayton... s Suns have offense and defense and SHOOTING from perimeter. Balance attack

Everybody needs to calm down.

Allowing Rockets to score 90 points in 1st half is not good but I still feels like the team played 10 times better than in the first 3 games this season. Under Watson Suns would lose by 50+ points not by 26 points.
I think we are overreacting too much after every game.
Few days ago Bender had superstar potential. Now he is a bust.
Chriss had good game - Amare 2.0! Chriss had bad game - he will play in China soon.
Right now everybody love Monroe. He will have bad game and everybody will want to waive him.

Good thing I decided to go to bed last night (morning really) after the Warriors-Celtics game. I was gonna watch it this evening, but after finding out halftime and final score I changed my mind. After all these years I actually started missing games.

Our defense needs to start getting better at some point and drafting a defensive-minded guy next June would help.
