We are shooting lights out..and they are too. Both over like 42% from 3. They have a lot of talent and we are shooting very well. This would be a very good team to beat, even without Millsap.

I'm not seeing it. 500 is no world beater, but id think they'd be 4 games under.

I think we can be a .500 team if we get Walker next season and he's prepared to play off ball a bit more like Canaan.

Next year, with some further summer seasoning, i think with a very good pg we could make the playoffs. But we have to get that guy first.

They've also missed their best player in Jokic for 7 or 8 games. It's a good win. They have plenty of talent, whether you see it or not.

If we had a legit/consistent 4 and a solid/consistent 3&D PG, we'd be a playoff team.

Hate to see us pile up wins when we should be tanking, but good to show up this overrated Denver team.

I think if we had an all star PG, a star PF, and an all nba C, we could be a playoff team next year.

But if we still had captain Earl Watson, probably not

Their point guard isn’t 5’6”

Good win for the team tonight, I'm sure they wanted it bad after getting thumped last time and losing a few in a row.

Booker was a beast tonight as usual, and I thought he did a good job sticking to Harris on defense too. It's insane to think that he's only 21 years old averaging 25/4.5/4.5. There's still so much time and room for him to continue to grow strength-wise and as a player too, he's going to be insane once he's in his prime. Seems like every year he's taken a step forward in some way after the All Star Break, wonder if he does it again this year?

Seems like JJ has been putting things together since his benching. I didn't think he did the best job on defense, but he definitely provided a spark on offense and was confident taking his shots. He still has a couple drives where he's out of control, but for the most part he's been a lot better about staying in control of late. I think my favorite thing is that he's hit 7 FTs in a row and is shooting 73% for the month so far though lol.

Not a terrible game for Bender, but not his worst. Trey Lyles played well against him on both ends, although it's not like Bender's getting a high volume of touches in scoring positions. Seemed like Lyles was quicker off the dribble than Bender was, which surprised me because Bender's usually good about containing drives. Wish he'd come out and have a game like he did before getting the starting spot.

Good to have TJ back too, the team definitely missed having a consistent 20 point scorer. Crazy how quietly he puts up the numbers he does. He did a really good job being active on defense today, and as always is lethal in transition and cutting to the basket. He's got a knack at putting the ball in the basket, only a consistent 3 point shot from potentially being one of the better scorers in the league. Tough to say if he ever develops it though, his form just doesn't seem suited for that range.

Bender really needs to be more aggressive though, its been said before but when he gets the ball he doesn't even look at the rim, teams know he is going to pass every damn time, Being a bit more aggressive would do him the world of good.

He has a typical euro game/mindset. Even if he had an advantage athletically, which he doesn't, he still would not have used it.

Bender needs to not only look for an open three or piss his pants.

Side note. For the first time in forever, I wasn’t worried about losing a game when we were up in the last five minutes. I truly thought to myself, just get Booker the ball and we will win, even though he missed his last four shots. I’m starting to feel like, just keep it close and we have a good chance with Booker. That is when you start becoming a good team......We have a closer.

Not even thinking about that pick anymore. JJ continued growth is what we control and is more important than banking on a draft pick. Last night was Booker, JJ, and TJ, if we can add one more guy, which is posssible, then I have high optimism for this team.

Edit: Bender or Chriss could be that guy too.
