It's weird that everyone's criticizing the FO when we all presumably got a lot of things we wanted last night: (1) great performance from Booker, (2) great performance from TJ, (3) great performance from Payton (hey, you'd rather have him rn than Shabazz, amirite?), (4) Dragan wasn't killing us, (5) Len outplayed Nurk (ha!) and (6) to top it all off, we still lost!!

Well the coaches and players have not been accused of losing on purpose. That is not tanking. Tanking is picking youth over vets and focusing on development of young players and flexibility. By playing undeveloped youth you lose.

But your "we don't care" is right. Robert Sarver has never in his life actually paid top $ for a head coach. Under his tenure, Suns head coaches have always ranked among the bottom ones in the league in pay. That's just how he operates, he doesn't believe in having to pay high $$ for a good head coach.
I'm a longtime NBA fan, i well know the penny pinching ways of Robert $aver. I'm sure he probably will hire Triano because of the bottom line. That said, what i listed is what they should do, not what they will do.
I truly feel for Suns fans for how awful the ownership is there. It's not the worst (thanks Kings), but its top 3.
Sarver hasn't been cheap in like 15 years. He spent like crazy after letting Amare go.
He spent on players but he’s been in cheap on hiring coaches and GMs. His coaches and GMs are constantly among the lowest paid in the league and he likes to keep it that way.
