That's not true at all.

How so? A big man who can't jump and has relatively short arms and prefers to lay the ball in at point blank range is going to get his shot swatted inside a lot of times when defenders know he isn't going to elevate very much.

He still has the short runner but unless he develops a low post game I really would not rely on him to score much at all, also his defensive limitations were evident last year as he is a really bad shot blocker and provides little interior defense.
