I understand we're likely going to pick Ayton with the #1, but I have to be honest, it will disappoint me if the Suns pass on this kid - he's the real deal. I can see why people want Ayton - it's every team's dream to have a franchise center. I just see so many red flags - I'm nervous. If Ayton is a Sun, I hope to hell I'm wrong and Ayton becomes the next David Robinson/Ewing - because I don't think opportunities to get a winner like Luka come around to often.

I have to agree. I'm just glad we're at least getting one of them, but tbh Luka worries me less

Same here. I had been keeping that tab open for days, but with a router reset it brought me back to the OG page with no way of accessing my previous mock.

I see 4 with 2 mocks:

BW, If you can explain to us how to delete our previous mock, then tell us, i just havent found a way!

How do you even see that? I don't know how to delete, but batsmasher surely can, and we can always use the most recent one because their are timestamps. But when you do one, it gives you somewhere to click to get a link to save it and go back. I just emailed myself the link and have changed it a few times.

When i did mine and hit submit, it took me to this page:

That analytics tab is interesting...I guess I just never clicked on "see previous responses"...pie charts are interesting to look at.

Why should any of you be worried about the draft tomorrow given how much confidence you have in McD judging by how devotedly you people are defending him from every criticism went his way? Whomever he picks tomorrow must be the best prospect in the draft since he is a genius in analytics whose models are so perfect he can't pick anyone but the best available am I wrong? there will always be 10+ people here defending McD whenever someone criticize McD's track record with the draft or decisions he made regarding player movements, if he is so perfect then why is everyone worrying about the pick tomorrow?

Deep down inside everyone knows the guy he picks tomorrow will be the Darko this year be it Doncic or Ayton because everyone deep in their heart knows McD is one of the worst GMs in the league but somehow still feel the need to defend him like an abused wife defending her abusive husband because she has no where else to go.

I feel like it would be the most Suns thing ever to finally get the #1 pick, draft Ayton and have him bust and then have to watch Doncic tear it up and visit us multiple times a year since he'd be drafted by a Pacific division team in the Kings.

I don't want Trier. Even at 59 there are some good guys who can help us more.

I do wonder how much Brooklyn values Russell at the moment. If we can't get Doncic or Young, I think I'd prefer trading a decent amount for him over sticking at 16 for Holiday. Maybe still draft Shamet as insurance at 31 if he is there and we are able to keep 31.

There are just as many people down on McD as there are high on him. He's been far from great.

I don't think his drafting has been that bad. His trades? Some have been awful, some have been fine. Your particular criticisms of him though did not make any sense. You said he has a history of giving up on young players when we are fielding one of the youngest rosters in the league and consistently playing some young guys with awful numbers to develop them. You then said he got too little by waiting to trade disgruntled players, when we in reality got quite a bit for all of them aside from arguably IT, who was just traded for about the same return as we got. So yeah, just because some, including myself, disagree with you doesn't mean McD will for sure pick the right player.

For me, I'm not worried because we are picking one of Ayton or Doncic and I think both will be awesome and there are arguments for both guys going 1. I will be pissed if we take anybody else, but for me I don't understand the need to be worried about pick 1. I am more worried about 16, 31, and trading up because those have much greater room for error. Pick 1 is pretty damn safe.

How would people feel about trading to 9 and taking Mikal Bridges and playing him in a 4 out 1 in lineup alongside Jackson and Booker. So Ayton is the 1 big, and we ask Mikal to guard 4s.

Miles or Mikal? I don't think Mikal has the size to guard 4's.

There was nothing that would make that thread exist. I was somehow able I think to copy those posts into this thread which at this point is probably fine for an all inclusive draft talk thread being that there is little #1 pick discussion...the other one is still there for some reason even though I first tried to merge after it said it didn't exist and then just had to move most of the recent posts. The only way to enter it is to click on the thread on the left where the red stuff is scrolling...but you can't do anything in it. If you try and post it either doesn't work or you end up in this thread.

The realgm servers might crash tomorrow...hopefully not.

I think Mikal will get pushed around by 4s. He's a bench wing imo. I'd prefer a high upside guy if we move up.

Both don't have the size to play PF..
But Mikal has 7'3 wingspan... And 6'8

So he's longer.

Wow, the Nuggets trying to move up for Doncic. I guess they'd probably have to offer Murray and 14. Probably not enough though.
