The Ryan Anderson thread
I think that we have a pretty solid role player in Ryno.
He is ALWAYS a threat on offense because he is one of the best snipers in the league.
At 30 he has a couple of good years ahead of him yet, so I think he can give us a decent production in 18-20 mpg.
Defensively he is not good, but he is at least a solid rebounder and smart.
Great reputation around the league as a team player and nice guy.

Re: The Ryan Anderson thread
Ryan's going to be an important part of our offense, finally a stretch big that can actually make threes. He is going to play the role that Frye did in years past. Our medical staff can hopefully help him get back to his form from two years ago when he earned/first got that contract.
Also another vet that can contribute on the floor as well.

Re: The Ryan Anderson thread
He's basically going to be Teletovic 2015-16.
A sieve on D but a legit 12pt scorer with 200x threes if he can stay on the court.
I think he'll start and if he gets hot early he'll play 30mins, if we get pumped early in the game then he'll be subbed out quick. Basically Troy Daniels but 6'10".

Re: The Ryan Anderson thread
That's a tough read but for sure humanises a guy who most just saw him as an overpaid player. On a similar note and not trying to 'take away' from Ryan's story but Monty Williams has been through sht. In this article, he and his wife Ingrid were with Ryan that night to comfort him and it mentions that Ingrid's brother had committed suicide not long before then. And it reminded me that Monty's wife passed away a few years ago from a car crash. Monty really has been through some tough times

I hadn't but I just read, and it was a great read. I knew he had dealt with that, but a great story to read if you want more insight.
When asked how Fascism starts, Bertrand Russell once said:
"First, they fascinate the fools. Then, they muzzle the intelligent."
