+2 Booker
+1 Ariza
The offense looks so much more potent when Booker is looking for his shot. Too bad he usually only does that in the 4th Quarter. Everyone telling him he is like Harden has gotten in his head where he is trying to make too many passes. He should be looking to score 90% of the time.
We really need to work on guys getting open coming off screens. I don't think they have completely picked up the offense yet...you can seem them passing but they are not always constantly moving like Igor's offenses usually do. Booker needs open catch and shoots. He is a much worse scorer off of iso (as good as he often is at that in big moments and end of games...but during the game, not so good..the #s reflect the more dribbles he has, the worse his % gets, and far worse after about 3).
Link? I thought I read somewhere that Booker's iso is one of the best in the NBA.
Here it is...he actually really drops off after 2 dribbles, but is best from 3 with no dribbles.
Booker’s efficiency is through the roof when he’s set up in catch-and-shoot or cutting situations, but greatly tails off the longer he pounds the ball:
0 dribbles: 53-of-90 from 2-PT (58.9%), 75-of-182 from 3-PT (41.2%)
1 dribble: 50-of-83 from 2-PT (60.2%), 15-of-40 from 3-PT (37.5%)
2 dribbles: 49-of-86 from 2-PT (57.0%), 13-of-33 from 3-PT (39.4%)
3–6 dribbles: 89-of-203 from 2-PT (43.8%), 25-of-70 from 3-PT (35.7%)
7+ dribbles: 67-of-151 from 2-PT (44.4%), 19-of-55 from 3-PT (34.5%)
That’s typical of almost all scorers, but it highlights why the Suns really need to figure out what to do about their point guard slot. New head coach Igor Kokoškov may want Booker to run the offense a lot more, but it’s imperative to put your star and №1 option in a system that suits his strengths.

gaspar posted another stat showing he was 34.7% on pull up 3s...where he just dribbles up to the line and shoots them, which is on par with his 7+ dribbles #.
