Looks to me like they want Booker, Bridges, Ariza, Warren, Ayton

Not true. At the time of this reply, 29 people want Booker to start but not necessarily at PG. So 24 people want either Canaan or Okobo to start at PG and Booker only has 5 people wanting him to start at PG.

I guess that's true considering you can see 29 people voted.

I went with Okobo over Canaan because, even with his "limited" experience he's the more naturally distributing PG of the two. Putting Canaan in with Booker eventually forces you into a Point Booker role since Canaan has been more of a score first PG in his time with the Suns.

Okobo has already shown he can run the point on this time, he just needs more in game experience, especially with the starters.

Canaan - he is what he is. Some fans seem to hate him for what he's not rather than what he is and that's a borderline 2nd string PG who is a steady hand, can shoot the 3, occasional get to the rim and makes safe passes. I eventually want to see Okobo here but while I'm not disappointed in Okobo, he hasn't exactly stolen a starting gig from Canaan and "youth" can't just be the sole reason for a starting gig.

Booker - no further comment required

Bridges - I like the kid, he plays hard on both ends, he's long and he has good fundamentals. I thought about putting Ariza here for more experience but I like that Bridges has a high IQ and has the skills and the range to help us on the floor.

Warren - Happy with Ariza here as token starter but I do think Warren is a more deserving starter. With 3J now shooting the 3, that gives us 4 guys with range that can also move the ball in the starting 5.

Ayton - No further comment required

"They" are dreaming. Devin Booker will *never* be a point guard in the nba. Its laughable to me. Only thing more silly is when people were talking about JJ at the 1. I love booker. But the only time he should bring the ball up is in the fourth quarter and even then, not against a trapping defense. Don't we have enough turnovers already guys or do you want to set some sort of record?

Going to our trump card in minute 1 of a game doesn't feel like a recipe for success. Booker is not Kobe, he's not a guy you can iso from the 1st quarter and expect he'll be able to continue doing it with a minute left in the 4th of a tight game. He's just not that guy.

Yeah, the votes kept Canaan as the starter, as bigfoot pointed out. As you can see 35 people voted, and of those, 29 picked a PG to start, so only 6 wanted Booker or Jackson to start at PG. There were just some other splits between wings. And of course you have Ayton and Booker getting 35 votes, so after that, you take the top two left.
