It seems like Ayton doesn’t care about his stats. He will have an easy rebound in front him but lets his teammates have it.

He can average 13 rebounds in his sleep. He needs to get better getting offensive rebounds, that comes with better effort.

Ive only seen 3-4 games... but Ayton looks like a 2-3 year project. He has mad physical ability but I dont think he has a clue on what to do with it.

Too bad... as this team needed a kickstart.

Lebron, KD and Steph are in their own stratosphere in regards to their accolades (champions, perennial MVP's candidates, MVP awards), media attention and legit impact on the game. But coming up real fast are those Hardens, AD's, Kawhi's, Giannis's and probably Westbrook, guys who are MVP caliber or have already won an MVP. The next tier down are the guys who are really good, multi-time all-star, multi-time All-NBA selection but not quite that MVP level player, like a PG, Dame, Kyrie.

That’s exactly how I see it. The first tier guys make you favorites to win a championship, the next tier will get you deep in the playoffs or the finals, and the third tier are perennial all stars that can win you a round or two. George is a top 12 player in the league in my opinion, no disrepect to him but the dropoff is huge. Booker is probably around 25th or so.

Where would guys like Kemba, Butler & Leonard rank?

I'd put Jimmy in that 3rd tier. Kemba in the same 3rd tier but near the bottom. Leonard is 2nd tier

I’d probably go Leonard tier 2 Butler tier 3 and Kemba in the next tier - all star level players that won’t guarantee you a playoff spot. There has got to be a gap there imo.

I know people hate to hear it, but Doncic would have done that. Luckily I was and am so high on Bridges that I would probably take the Ayton/Bridges pairing over Doncic/Robinson, but that's a tough one. On second thought, I'm not sure I would. But I do think we'd be more competitive right now. Robinson is raw, though, so the middle would have been tough. His rim protection is great, but rebounding hasn't been great and he doesn't do much on offense, but Doncic is having one of the better rookie seasons in a while. Probably better than Simmons last year.

Kemba was probably tier 4 but maybe jumped to tier 3 this year. Leonard was probably tier 1 but right now could have dropped to 2 until he can re-establish himself, but for 2 way players, maybe still #1. I'd probably put AD, and maybe Giannis in tier 1 though.

Butler is tier 3. Dame is far better than Kyrie. Jokic and a bunch of others I'd put ahead of Kyrie.
