Pure positivity in that interview. I hope it is infectious like he says.

I think J Crossover has changed the vibe a little.

Absolutely. It's striking how much harder he plays than what Chandler was giving them the past couple years. I'll take heart and effort over 'vet leadership' any day.

Yea. He is huge. Teams start playing the ball instead of him like they do with Ayton and that allows him to get easy baskets.

Great attitude though.

Good and Bad. Good that Crawford is a true vet and teammate. Bad because Igor should already know this.

Jamal will be an absolute superb coach. He has all the emotional and bbal skills to be one.

I was against the Crawford signing and I still think his minutes should go to the young guys since he is a shoot first/pass second kinda guy... but:

-With Tyson gone, we needed another vet
-Crawford has been an excellent coach/lockerroom guy
-The Bucks win alone was worth the signing.

I actually really like Crawford and have gained a lot of respect for him...but I still say "Free Okobo!"

I wonder if we can keep Crawford around as an assistant? He might help the coach really connect with the players. If we can get Nash to come back, Crawford would be a good alternative.

Yeah, I've seen them mention a number of times how much it is hurting them not having Igor...seen them say stuff like "Hope Suns front office are idiots and let him go so he can come back."

Saying he needs to step up his defensive game and cut his turnovers is hate? People need to quit using this word on message boards. It’s a straw man argument and it is disrespectful to other posters.

The concept that Booker needs to improve defensively in order for this team to improve is a fact. We have been soft as tissue paper for the last few years on defense. The only common denominator on all those teams is Booker and Warren. New players coaches and even GM. As the leader goes, so goes the team.

Tough love. He can do it. I am expecting he will.

Exactly. Hate is a bit strong. He simply needs to get better at defense or he will never be worth that max. He showed signs of cutting down on turnovers at times so that's a positive.

Great interview. I don't know why people think they hate on him. He's our best rookie since probably Walter Davis, and before that Alvan Adams. Most efficient. That's like 40 years. http://bkref.com/tiny/DzLLq

Being the #1 recruit coming up though and seeing him at AZ brings high expectations so sometimes watching the defense is frustrating, but there is no denying his overall impact.

He's already our best on/off guy other than Bridges.

Our two best on/off guys are rookies. That is a successful draft.

Yes, and it shows how poor our roster was constructed before that.

Good to finally get a win, even better against a good team.

I think this team isn't as bad as W/L suggest. Current starters play really nice, it's the lack of depth that hurts. Could really use 2-3 solid bench players.
Suns should keep at least one of Booker/Warren/Ayton on the floor all time.
