Recently moved back to Arizona, and scored some nice seats for this game. I'm big on supporting the teams where I'm located, despite my more "concrete" tastes amongst sports teams in general. I've never gotten a chance to see Booker live, but he's going to be really, really, good. There is much to be desired on the defensive end with his athletic ability, but even with KAT on the floor it was quite obvious that he was the best offensive player on the floor at all times. In my opinion, at least.

I didn't understand Kokoskov's approach with Ayton that game. Let Ayton get those minutes against KAT, especially on the defensive end. As some mentioned, he's a year and some months removed from High School basketball. Let him learn. The Suns are in a good spot going forward, they really are.

Ayton was in foul trouble since the first quarter, that is why he did not play too many minutes.

Thanks for finally seeing this, please don't compare Booker to Wiggins again like you did in a GB thread few weeks ago. Thanks.

I don't remember this at all.

I'll take some shame . I admit I'm probably lower than most of you on Booker but Wiggins just flat sucks. Just voted on the trade forum today for my worst contract in the NBA

It was in one of the many Suns bashing threads on the GB (you didn't start the thread). You compared Booker and Ayton duo's ceiling being similar impact wise to Wiggins and Towns. You then doubled down and said something along the lines of how Booker is similar to Wiggins in many ways and how both are bad contracts and such.

I agree that Ayton's ceiling is probably Towns which is not actually a good thing because Towns is a massive stat padder and not a winning player imo. However I have hope that Ayton can be better since he's more athletic than Towns but we'll see.

Booker is better than Wiggins in about every way. Booker has more in common with Zach LaVine than he does Wiggins but still Booker's much better than both. Defensively he's awful but offensively, he does a lot that does not show up in the stat book (which is why I find it funny when people say he's a stat chaser because his impact on that end goes beyond his #s).

I was kinda surprised to read it because generally you are supportive of the Suns and I know you've kinda adopted the Suns as your second favorite team which is cool. Threw me off initially when I saw that post came from you. It's cool though, perhaps I misread the post somehow and it was not what you meant. Regardless, still good to see you appreciating Booker's play on the offensive end of the floor

I really don't remember this. Maybe for the duo (Towns is better than Ayton), but really don't think I said that on Booker. He's better than Wiggins.
