The most impressive thing about Warren isn't how great of a scorer he is or how great he is at the 3pt line or how great he is in transition or whatever. It's his consistency.

I haven't seen such a consistent Suns scorer on good/great efficiency almost every night in a long time. Even Booker has bad days shooting the ball and such but for Warren it's so rare. He's basically guaranteed to score at least 20 or damn near it every single night.

He's the most underrated player of all the non playoff contending teams in the league imo.

I'd like to think our guys are understanding their roles and the system Igor has created. It was a difficult situation for the coach to be thrust into a team that had what 9 new players or something? And then one of those players is supposed to be a veteran that did absolutely nothing, so he had to actually be cut out of the rotation entirely. Just saying it's harder than expected to be a coach, especially when most of the roster consists of young players who are under 25 years old.

Even the Heat's superteam when they were first constructed in 2011 started the season like 9-8 before winning their next 21 of 22 games or something. It takes time.

3 wins in a row! :D
I know Suns have no chances at making the playoffs but I really don't want them to be the worst team again. Let's get ahead of Hawks, Bulls and Cavs! And I really want to see young guys getting better as the season progress.

Can we get Booker to spend this summer taking 42,000 3's? I want him to be even scarier.

Our Nicaraguan good luck charm Dolly Castro is 3-0. Most successful in Suns history.

Certainly they're understanding their roles better and that's a big part of it.

But I think, if you go back and look at even a lot of our bad games, that we were an unselfish team trying to feed it to the open or cutting player a ton, so the willingness to pass was already there. I just think that the passer is starting to understand their teammates' tendencies on where they run, what spots they like, when they're cutting etc, and the receiver is starting to understand how to be more open, when the passer is looking for them etc.

Basically - they're learning how to gel, how to play with each other. Booker had a screaming lefty pass cross court that was passed inside to Josh Jackson who tossed it off to Ayton on one sequence, completely unselfish basketball where everyone seemed to know where the other person already was. That synergy was beautiful to see.

This is true. I am also amazed how strong he is with his shot. He seems to be able to get the ball in the hoop even when people are hanging on him or have hands on the ball. He is one of the best scorers in traffic I have ever seen.

He also works to improve himself. When he was in college he worked hard to lose 20 lbs between his freshman and sophomore years. It made a huge difference. His added three point shot this summer shows just plain hard work. I would not be surprised if he improves his defense significantly too.

Fun game to watch. See a different body language going on. Let's hope they can keep it up on the rest of the road trip. Turned off a Suns game smiling which was nice.

I agree. I don't want the Suns anywhere near a top 3 pick next summer. I want them to start winning games. Granted, it might only mean 25, 27, at most 30 wins on the season. And 25 might be aggressive. But, start building a foundation of "not losing." I don't even think they should "rest" Booker the last part of the season like last year. Play it out...

There is really no point in tanking with the new best odds of winning the lottery(14% or something). Last season it was different. Also now that the team has some building blocks it's definitely more important to build a winning culture.

Gotta admit, after what we witnessed for most of the early part of this season I never expected them to put together a 3 games win streak at any point.

First game in a looong time I haven't screamed 'WTF Josh'. Very cool.

While Ayton still does not have the look of the "man" he looked liked a great teammate. First guy off the bench to congratulate the guys on the floor. And he is getting better.

Considering how quiet he gets his points even from a hardcore Suns perspective, I'm confident most non-Suns fan don't even know how good a scorer he is. Especially considering the last time a non-Suns fan has heard his name was probably when he got his contract extension when he was still kind of an average efficiency scorer on a bottom dweller, I'm pretty sure they have already cemented their idea of what he is and that isn't changing any time soon. Easily one of the most underrated players
