I wasn't sure I was going to watch...was midway through a movie when it started but got a call, so started it about 20 minutes late while on the call, and caught up at halftime when the call was over, so just stuck around for the rest. But not fun.
Need Ayton and TJ back. I imagine TJ rests through all star break if he's not traded.
Are you expecting a trade? I don't think we're getting Conley. Sarver probably wants to complete the tank.
No I'm not, but you never know. Conley wouldn't want to play here. Rubio we can sign anyway so no need to give up assets. Other decent PGs are on teams hoping to compete hard in playoffs so no real need.
Regardless we will have good playoff odds. It will be hard to not be bottom 4, and maybe bottom 3. NY, Chicago, Cleveland and Atlanta all play each other quite a bit, so one has to win by default. We do still have a couple against Atlanta and I think Cleveland, but we will be banged up for the first Atlanta game and they are playing well.
I think even if we play well down the stretch the best we likely finish is 4th worst with an outside chance of Atlanta being worse as they may try to low key tank by benching the vets down the stretch.
Even if we finish bottom 3, we still only have a little worse than a 1 in 7 chance at the #1 pick. I was lucky on running sims tonight...got 1 and then 5, then 4, then 1...so I quit there...best I've done. Still a long shot regardless of getting best odds. I rarely ever get pick 2 or 3 when I do it.
