He was the 2nd option for me because i think he could have an even bigger effect on the team than Rubio. But I chose Rubio because I know what Rubio can do. We've seen what he can do for guys like Love, Kevin Martin, KAT, Wiggins, Lavine and to a slightly lesser extent, Mitchell. I kinda know what I'm getting from Rubio and what he can do to make life easier for Booker and Ayton.
But to me Monty is a bit of a question mark still. I like all the praise he gets from players he's worked with and even all the glowing reviews from players he's had short interactions with. But to me his actual coaching is still so-so to me. I think on this team he's probably the biggest x-factor.
Yea he's easily the biggest catalyst for me this season with how we do. If he can actually implement a system that works thats huge.
The players buy in, the culture changes, i even think that he could effect Sarver from doing Sarver things as long as he can institute something thats shows we're otw to being...something lol. Show that theres some light at the end of the tunnel.
