Watching Jalen Smith highlights of him in college I thought he looked pretty yoked. Now, next to Ayton, you recognize just how big Ayton really is.

Ayton's gotten bigger. He's a lot stronger now. Really like what I saw from him last night.
Jalen definitely didn't look like the same player. Springier, quicker and slimmer than I thought he'd be. It'll be interesting to see how he develops.
... Speaking of rooks, y'all see Azubuike out there? Dayum!

Ayton looked slightly more comfortable putting the ball on the floor too which is good to see.
Yeh, Azubuike was HUGE and could jump!

Had a wedding so I didn't et a chance to watch the Sun's first preseason game but watching highlights, I thought some our 2nd unit/non-star guys had a good showing. Galloway and Moore showed exactly what we expected to do which is to come in, spread the floor and be a vet. From what I've read, Ayton being more aggressive is a great step in the right direction. When he learns he *can* bully people, he will hopefully take on that role of an intimidator on both ends of the court.

Ayton being more aggressive is a bit overstated.I saw him try to attack the basket twice.Other than that, same old Ayton. The guy could be so much more, but I think he's ok with settling in as a 3rd-4th option type player. He can put up 18 and 12 in his sleep, but when it comes to situational basketball, I don't ever see him being a guy you can just dump the ball down to for a basket. He just wants to play the background. Some team's going to be suckered into giving him a max contract.Hope it's not the Suns.I expect him and CP3 to have a few heated exchanges this year.I could see Ayton's aloofness & lack of aggression rubbing a player like CP3 the wrong way.Might be the most interesting dynamic to watch this season.Hopefully CP3 can help him blossom.I'd be mildly surprised.Ayton just doesn't seem all that hungry to me.

Deyawndre has no business putting a trey shot or dribble drive into his game. It’s a distraction that strokes his inner pussycat. The dude should shoot a thousand baby jump hooks a day...it is unstoppable, along with an elbow J. Why complicate things? How about perfecting a few moves prior to expanding the arsenal.
The big soft serve needs to be close to the hoop, where he can dominate the uncontested rebounds. Really, I doubt we will see any changes in his effort.
PS.... right there with you Maze.

What ? Me Worry ?
