You have to consider our 0.5 seconds system though. I don't think Dedmon can play in that style, not a good fit for the system we play. Monty and James Jones seem to focus on certain type of players with their moves. (Tbh Damien Jones is not a good fit either but they signed him for 2 years...)

What exactly is our 0.5 seconds system really?

It is a philosophy that is focused on constant motion via either passing, shooting or driving. Player handling the ball must make a decision in 0.5 seconds (ideally) and go with it. As Monty and Jones told the media repeatedly the system needs players that has high BBIQ and quick decision-making. I am not sure if Dedmon is capable playing in this system. I didn't watch him a lot but he gives me the impression of a slow pace player. I mean Kaminsky is not a basketball genius either but at least he spent 1 year with Monty and the team.

“You either shoot it, pass it or drive it,” Williams said. “Just don’t hold the ball. It has to happen in 0.5 seconds. I just want them to play with pace and play together. ‘0.5’ is just a way to play faster… For me, it’s a free way to play basketball.”

The system allows for a more simplistic flow, but in order for it to run smoothly, the right players must be in place. Williams feels that him and General Manager James Jones have acquired the right pieces in terms of basketball IQ and talent to bring ‘0.5’ to The Valley.

“I think that’s were James and I have synergy,” Williams said. “We know the kinds of guys we want in our system. High character guys who make the right plays from a basketball stand point, but know how to work, know how to handle a video sessions, but they can play in ‘0.5’. I think that’s where the league is headed.”

I have noticed Paul and Booker don't do this as much, when crossing half court, particularly Booker, who will start wanting to score on his own or make it look like that is what he is eventually going to try, with his back to the basket, pump fake starts, and then maybe he works into another move to shoot. This is fairly predictable often but sometimes he passes out of it.

I honestly hope Ricky will consider us when his free agency comes up in 2022.

He'll be 32 by then. Booker will be in his prime, and hopefully content here with a core of Bridges/Ayton/Cam Johnson. CP3 will probably be retired or doing a Rondo contender tour.

Yeah, Moore did play out of position at PG in a new system with new players so did struggle, but I'm not too worried about him. He's had to work hard since coming into the league as a 2nd round pick, working his way to becoming a starter and key guy in NO until last year when they revamped their roster to go young and rebuild. He also shot over 42% from 3 in 3 of the last 5 years and has a great floater..has been a better 3 pt shooter and a lot better 2 pt guy than Galloway, for example, with his floater. Yeah, me too, obviously especially if Paul is leaving, but also possible if Paul signs a cheap deal or becomes asst coach or something.

I think Rubio will continue to develope as he gets older as his game more relies on instinct and IQ than using a lot of athleticism and moves that wears down your body.

If Kaminsky's 3s drop at 36% he is a decent stretch four. Gee have you guys seen Jones and Motley play, Frank is an allstar compared to those two.

I thought he played decent, frustrating often times wide open shots that looked decent just weren't falling. maybe an unpopular take but paying league minimum for his service is a bargain.

I was going to cancel my NBA league pass this season because of the Hollywood style presentation and horrible spoiler setup.... I do NOT like auto-log in so every time I watch NBA through my browser the "Hide score is OFF".... just not practical for those that do not like being logged on or using privacy settings.

Anyways, I was going to cancel until the Suns landed CP3 and others, so I was going to leave it one more season before I cancel it and just watch off links from various sites.

I am happy to pay for the convenience of having a guaranteed good stream every time, but seriously, they're understanding of what the customer wants is pretty pathetic... they're just lucky they have an awesome product to sell
