Suns got too cocky when leading by 23+ and kept shooting threes presumably gunning for the 3 point record. Luckily we realized in the final minutes to feed Ayton which pushed our lead back in double figures.

Their defense/rebounding was bad from the jump but nobody noticed cause they hit every 3 they threw up and were up by 20. It didnt just magically appear in the 2nd half after they got a big lead. They then continued their bad defense/rebounding in the second half so when the offense inevitably came back down to earth, the lead disappeared.

Was yours an ACL?

Acl, pcl and mcl + meniscus cleat was planted in field to cut and got hit low on the knee by a tiny db 5’8 165 lbs when I was 6’1 235. Instantly knee it and away went my scholarship with it.

That sucks...

Freak injuries are a reason why I don't really even play pick up anymore. That any opportunity. It freaks me out thinking, I could just go for a simple lay up or a basic rebound and tear something.

Same here. I managed to always injure myself in pick up games. Usually freak injuries, going after loose basketballs, or defending. I play drums in a band, so I am always concerned about injuries, I always have to give 100% even in pick up games, so its better to just not play. Plus Covid killed most pickup games.
