Payne might be one of the quickest players in the entire league with the ball in his hands. He’s able to beat his defender because of just his first step alone, without even having to utilize anytime of crossover move or behind the back move.

Right now his game is entirely at the rim or 3s. If he can develop a midrange game then it’d take his game to another tier higher.

Overall I still think he’s best suited in a 6th man role off the bench. At most, I’d offer him Jordan Clarkson $$ for that same role.

As an Australian, I am baffled and surprised that Brett Brown is an assistant to Monty.

Would like the Bucks more than Hawks in possible finals scenario

He's not, Monty was an assistant under him in Philly for a year though

Well, I did it. I'm headed down to LA tomorrow to go see CP3 demolish the Clippers.

I'll try to carry the torch of good luck and hopefully we get that 10th straight win.

Agreed, Collins and Capella could be trouble on the boards and Trae is a master of foul baiting.

If we get past the Clippers (that should remain the main focus for the team of course) then yeah I’d also prefer playing the Bucks rather than the Hawks.

Bucks are an easier team to defend cause their main star player has such limited amount of moves. All that Giannis wants to do is finish at the rim. And that’s all that he can do.

Just have Crowder defending him with Ayton as the primary help at the rim. Then have Bridges on Middleton and CP3 on Holliday. Our bench would run their bench out of the gym.

Hawks are sort of a nightmare matchup because of many of their players being multi-skilled in scoring and playmaking.

That's awesome dude!

But if we lose tomorrow...gonna need you to go ahead and sit out the rest of the series. That'd be great

To me it looks like 2 technicals, one for pushing Payne and one for pushing Booker.

Didn't Payne get two technicals in the Lakers series for two separate yet immediately consecutive actions?

Consistency in decision making? get real pal
Wait. Did Suns "security" come onto the court to provide some control of the post game situation after Boogie shoved first Cam Payne then he shoved Book. I can't really tell as there are some men with full Nike suits on getting in the middle of the scuffle. Or I could just have drank too much and totally over analyzed the situation.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I've heard from more than one national commenter how it took such a heroic out of the blue effort from Payne to win and the Suns are just lucky to get that break. How bout the Clips are not that great of a team or coached in the first place for the backup point guard to have such a night in the conference finals.

Clippers are a good team - not great team
They do miss not only Kawhi but Ibaka
Cousins or Zubac just cannot move well enough

That being said - they are reliant on the 3 ball - and if they are making them - they are tough. If not, it makes it tougher

Let's be real, Leonard is a top 5 player and one of the most clutch ayers in the league right now. I still think that with he and Paul playing full time, we have a great chance to win but let's not act like he wouldn't turn a lot of their weaknesses into strengths!!
