Personally feel like there were unnamed players and guys on second team that had better Summer Leagues, but hopefully this is a good confidence builder for him. He did some things well that we could use this season, we need to lock him in the gym and have him do the Mikan Drill until the season starts though.

I was thinking he made it because he lead in rebounds, and the next guy in line in that category didn't score 16 pts a game like Jalen.

Yeah but keep in mind he won't be the focal point of most defenses no matter what lineup we have on the court, whereas he was in Summer League. Also, he'll be playing with guys that can set him up for good looks much more frequently and he won't have to create his own offense like he did in SL.

He does need to shoot better, but I think it will work itself out naturally.

We can stop talking about signing him as a two-way contract. His contract is official now.

Not necessarily. Some Euro or Chinese contracts have termination or small buyout clauses if the player is offered an NBA deal. Not saying it will happen, just that this doesn't mean he WONT be offered a deal down the line.

He had that type of clause that would have allowed him to sign with an NBA team until August 18th.

He is now on the official roster and he will not be waived in the middle of the season. That team is a serious team. Not happening.

Well that sucks. Good for Kyle though, he will get to play there, while he would get none here unless injuries happen.
