Wow, great game and it was a joy to watch Chris Paul toying with the Lakers.

Mikal Bridges played GREAT. Both sides.

Book was Book again. Well, not yet but close to be himself again.

Ayton dominated the boards and played very good D. Then some easy finishes on offense... that is exactly what we want from him.

The Lakers have a tough season in front of them. Too many old players who don't mesh well together...at least for now. Their defense wasn't ready at all.

Feared the news around the owner will distract the players, but they were focused to kick some Lakers ass.

I hate that they focused on this with Monty in the pre game interview "How will you have your players focused?"

Especially when there is no story yet.

Then when watching the game, I thought to myself "These guys are pumped to be on national tv playing LeBron doing what they train hard for and love...no way they are thinking the least bit about that stuff right before or during the game."

Good news is, other than the Suns playing well after a lackluster first game, we might have another year with no super team. Lakers have issues. Nets have issues. Clippers have issues. Hoping for another wide open year.
