Is Booker already the 3rd best player in the history of the Suns?

In 96-97 that was the season with the shortened 3pt line and yeah I remember he had a pretty good shooting season but the next season his averages went back down after they moved the 3pt line back farther.

Yeah, I guess they shortened it in 94-95 for 3 seasons then moved it back, except for the corners, but that was basically KJ's last year which was injury riddled and he only shot 26 of them.

In my lifetime (80s onwards) I'd rank them:

1. Barkley
2. Nash
3. Paul
4. Johnson
5. Booker
6. Stoudemire

Kevin Johnson had 4 All-NBA selections by Booker's current age, averaged 22 and 11 the 4 seasons before Barkley arrived. No shame in losing to the GOAT and could realistically be no.2 if they had been the only team to beat Jordan in the Finals.

As a Cal guy, nice to see KJ getting the respect he deserves by the fans in this thread. He was a dominant force during his peak. Able to elevate a team to relevancy all by himself. a true PG.
