sorry about that. the warriors were doing well in regards to covid until their recent East Coast trip and now it has hit a lot of their players and coaches. it sucks and I hope it doesn't hit your team too hard.

Suns/Warriors rivalry has been fun this season tho!

He shouldn't have played something needed to be done.

No worries, it was an eventual thing for us all. Only a matter of time really! Ironically I was just posting about this last night too. It might have been me that jinxed them. :banghead: :tooth

Nevertheless we all have to get through this process. Better now than possibly around the playoffs huh?...lol.
Anyways, thanks for being classy about things.A rivalry doesn't always warrant contentious or petty discourse, So it's nice to experience a respectful and mature interaction. As for the game/ season, You guys have been amazing! So much fun to watch. Great win for your team last night too. It's definitely going to be a very entertaining rivalry.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were aware of it on xmas, or skipped testing him (and others) to be safe. I bet more players on both Phoenix and GSW will be announced tomorrow

With all the doom and gloom over this loss Curry shot 37 percent from 2 and 31 percent from 3 so I think the Suns did a really good job on him defensively.

The only issue was allowing the supporting cast to get theirs with extra rebound back door cuts so I wonder if the better strategy is just to allow Curry to get his and shut down everyone else?

Suns lost the game because the Warriors wanted the damn ball more
loose balls
rebounds

They got so many second chance points because they just wanted the ball more. My guess - it was a double digit margin in those metrics. The Suns have to do better

Cam Payne - also, somehow when he gets in the game, Monty needs to find a way to get him to score early as otherwise, he struggles, his whole game struggles if he is not scoring offensively

This is exactly how I felt too. Didn't see any scheme problems, they just outworked us and wanted the W more. Dubs crashing the boards and fighting/hustling more than us. Curry is obviously the best player on the floor but it seems pretty apparent the Suns have a more talented team from top to bottom (that might change when Klay gets back and if Poole keeps up his shooting #s). We allowed the role players to get their shooting going and once they saw some go down they got their rhythm and confidence. I suppose that is a good thing? If we are more talented and just lost because we didn't want it more than them? Because that implies that if we do play harder than them we should expect to win. But this game felt a lot like the back half of the Finals last year. Milwaukee just played harder and hungrier than we did and we never quite matched them even though we still had opportunities in those last four games. If we run into GS in the playoffs I expect this effort from them every game, but I'm not as confident we can expect it from the Suns... Hope I'm wrong.
