Monty mentioned that he's earned minutes after we're healthy as a power forward, but I still think he's far better as a center.

I want to see him and DA get some minutes together. I'm not sure he's necessarily a power forward, but I think that there is a chance for him and DA to coexist together.

Maybe with Stix becoming more confident over this stretch, but he's thrived playing in the paint with more screen and roll, and our power forwards end up spotting up on the perimeter a lot of the time. I don't think he's quite skilled enough yet to primarily play on the perimeter in our offense.

Don't disagree with that assessment of him at the 4, but I also think Monty has enough nous to design some sets to put Jalen in the action more as a roll man, even from the 4 spot. We do run quite a few plays that involve Crowder screens on the perimeter, I wonder if we might try to tweak some of those to get Jalen into some good spots.

All in all, it's a good problem to have. I don't envy Monty's roster conundrum, but it certainly makes us a really good team.

Book with a terrible shooting night, he was frustrated with himself. The good news are that we don't rely on him to win games anymore, we have so many weapons and scorers.

Cam Johnson continues his great job, he is **** machine from three.

Jalen Smith...wow. He is probably already better than Ibaka, we need to take advantage of him while he is on the team.

Bledsoe is done as a starter. He is OK as a backup, but he is too big nowadays and looks slow. I think he needs to lose some weight to extend his career.

The fact that he stopped shooting and played decoy in the last 5min or so shows massive growth and maturity. A few seasons ago, he'd still be trying to shoot himself out of a slump

Biggest thing with Book is that he’s no longer useless if his shot isn’t falling because of his defense. He also proved how terrific he is defensively in individual defense in the playoffs and he’s made strides as a help defender this season as well.

This was a help defense play from yesterday in the 4th qtr that Book would’ve never made two years ago but he shows great effort to close out and contest

Overall as a player I think his next development will be handle double teams better. He still struggles a bit making the right play when getting double teamed often resulting in a turnover. That’s gonna be his next step up.

book also will make plays for others when things arent going for him. example the dish to corner for Camjo towards the end of the game.
