Which Pacer player in street clothes was wearing 2004 Suns' colors?

why?

rebounding is mostly player-side effort. Coaches always preach securing the boards, players need to put the extra effort to chase them though. Crowder was awake this game thats for sure, he was focusing on rebounds.

For me it's Steve Albert. I love how half the time he wasn't even talking about the game. He'd be ok for the first 5 minutes or so, but then halfway through the first quarter he'd switch to talking about a Bonanza rerun he watched the other day, or something.

Pacers fan here. Nice win and never a doubt in my mind. I read your entire thread and you were initially wondering how such a talented team could be so bad. You have your answer now.

Warren being out is huge as he was so impressive in the bubble. Sumner and McConnell both got injured and lost for rest of the season dealing a big blow to the point guard position. Brogdon’s ability to get hurt doesn’t help and his point guard play doesn’t fit well on this team. I actually think he’s more suited for shooting guard.

LeVert has had medical issues. He can score no doubt but his selfish style doesn’t work here on a team that is trying to run offense getting all players involved. He’s a defensive liability though. He played well tonight though.

Myles Turner (as someone noted how clumsy he is) is rim defender, but really has struggled to develop the rest of his game for as long as he’s been playing.

I actually like Torrey Craig. Not sure if coaches do as his playing time has been so up and down and a mystery.

Goga hasn’t developed.

Lance Stephenson is a ten day contract that they probably will sign near or after trade deadline.

Lamb can score when engaged, but always the worst defender.

Duarte is a rookie and he’s learning. Brissett is young and learning. Almost all of the bench now is young and learning lol.

That leaves Sabonis and Justin Holiday who are playing well.

Thus our great record this season with a new coaching staff who’s trying to implement their own way.

It’s a train wreck and someone was right when they said that the Pacers players can’t shoot.

The positive is that as a team nightly most of them hustle and play to win, but not all thus the bad fit and frustrating losses. I’m sure the players are frustrated.

Roster construction is mind boggling, but Carlisle and GM Pritchard wanted to sit pat in off-season and see how this roster would fare. Our owner thinks we have a fine little team. CLUELESS

Fan attendance is way down and I’m hoping they blow it up and build around Sabonis. Here’s to hoping we can get compatible players in return if they do.

Nice display in this game of Ayton's three level scoring + great defense potential.

He played like an All Star in this game. He was better than Turner and Sabonis TOGETHER.

Sabonis is a two-time All Star and to me he is slightly worse than Ayton.

The scary thing is that he is just 23 years old.

He will get his max contract from us next summer and we are gonna be great for years to come with him and Book in his prime.

It's also adjustments based on the scouting report. Because the Pacers are a terrible shooting team, the Suns are able to sink off shooters and crash the boards on the defensive end more freely. Rather than scrambling on a closeout that takes your momentum away from the rim (this happens to Crowder a lot).

Also, even if rebounding was just individual effort, the fact that Monty preached it and they bought into what he was preaching is evidence that he's a good coach and they want to play well for him.

Every coach preaches rebounding, at every level. What is kind of funny is the counter argument implies that Monty just failed to stress rebounding the other night, and that is why we allowed Toronto to get so many offensive boards.

Monty is a good coach, great motivator, and nice guy, but he has a ton of work to do to get to a Pop level. I still feel that he lost us a chip. Now the counter is he is also one of the the reasons we had the chance to get one. But when you lose four in a row in the finals, the coaching staff failed to make adjustments.

That was a fun game to watch. Very happy with the increased effort. That Raptors game was disgraceful.

Just finished. Great team effort. Ayton is starting to become my favourite Suns player. We have to max him and keep him under all circumstances. Future looks bright for our beloved franchise!

Please guys, conquer that damn ring, so we can get finally away from that succesful franchise never winning a title talks!

Return to Phoenix Suns
